Xiu Xiu's leaked already and it's quite good. Aside from that The Magnetic Fields, Kairon; IRSE!, Grails, Sun Kil Moon, and maybe Pallbearer will be good

Any songs out yet from any of those?
How the fuck do I download music. I've been using plebify for like 6 months now but my library is now maxed out. I want to download everything I have saved but SoulSeek doesn't work. It just fucking crashes my internet every 5 minutes. Any suggestions for how to fix this?
bandcamp
>[album you want] blogspot
also le archive is @ rbt.asia
yeah jdownloader with bandcamp or just google for the album.
What the fuck is "art rock"?
the opposite of butt rock
pitchfork term

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knx_7fBkRow
got you mane
>>69613006
this is good so far
>>69613029
yeah I liked it too
very bowie
How are they so fucking good?
>>69612937
studio trickery
>>69612937
>Yorke has a stunning voice and great composing habilities
>Jonny has that utterly useful music theory
>Ed's backing vocals/guitar playing
>Phil's syncopated drums
>Colin's fucking bass pedal is broken
That, maybe.
Good thread guys.
which is better
white album
bigger is better with the beatles
I mean the consensus is right.
White Album has better individual parts.
Abbey Road has better cohesiveness
Abbey Road has more band interplay and is a more cohesive album while The White Album sounds more like a bunch of solo tracks thrown together but I'm not a rockist so none of that really matters to me. I like both but Abbey Road is my favorite Beatles record.
Am I the only one who gives a shit?
>>69612831
I really enjoyed the title track, is it worth buying?
>>69612843
I'd say so. The songs are all smart and funny. Monsanto Years was too much, I thought. These are good, loose folk tunes.
starting now
when does it get good?
post yours, rate others
here's mine
have it, lads

Damn, OP, you have the most unique taste of any poster I've ever seen on this board. I don't think I've ever even heard of half of those albums.
>>69612765
I listened to that 'BIG' album recently because someone rec'd it to me. It was good.
>>69612810
I've never heard of any of yours. Sorry
>>69612810
well aren't you special with your carefully organised collection of "obscure" foreign women
Hey /mu/ can you recommend me some GOAT albums with Spanish lyrics?
pic obviously related
:(
Spinetta is god!!
Try "Vox Dei - La biblia"
Or "Manuel García - Pánico"
Or "Chinoy - Que Salgan Los Dragones A Volar"
Maybe even "Demian Rodriguez - Santos Inéditos"
Not exactly goat...but hella cool, wish you luck
>DALE TIBIA LECHE DE TU CUERPO
what did he mean by this?
A lot of people seem to think this is one of Radiohead's worst, but IMO it's criminally underrated.
What does /mu/ think?
Personal favorite even if it's definitely not their best.
Love the expanded timbral palette and how they actually finally made a fusion between Rock and Dance music.
>>69612715
It's one of those "Overrated because it's underrated" albums A lot of people don't like it so retards see it as an opportunity to flock to it and claim it's """"""Underrated"""""""" in order to seem like they're getting something out of it that other people aren't..
>>69612767
This post literally says nothing. You're just admitting that it is underrated.
Thoughts on Joyo pedals
Or cheap pedals in general
Point me in the right direction /mu/
>>69612553
joyo's stuff is good--well built and sounds good
i personally still use the flanger among many other nicer pedals
behringer makes good sounding stuff but it's built poorly but i like the vp 1
>>69612553
Joyo is great. Caline is great. Eno is great.
Most of the cheapy china pedals are great (excluding anything called "metal" or "extreme" but that's just my despising hi gain modern metal noise)
>>69612553
Have the octave fuzz, it's nice, but for the price it's unstoppable.
The compressor is subtle.
The phaser is subtle in a really nice way, a gentle swoosh as opposed to the sound of a star farting on a psych rock track
Neo-psychedelia needs to be more than "lol woah trippy" to be good. Pic related
>>69612525
Pic related as an example of what ? Your wording is a little ambiguous.
>>69612545
Fuck lol yeah my bad, this album sucks
>>69612525
That album is nothing more than a pastiche
Just listened to this for the first time and wtf the opening track is like nails on a chalkboard, so hard to listen to
well, just get through it. yeah it's partially noise pop n shit. you get used to it eventually. there are plenty of other songs on the track that are pretty easy to listen to. chocolate girl, la rapet, alvin row, and even most of april and the phantom. just listen to it all the way through and tough it out.
>that album
>Hard to listen to
Even Xiu Xiu is harder than this. Just chillout and have a míx between Focus and disinterest
>>69612523
switch la rapet with penn dreadfuls and yea
My buddy and i recorded a couple covers, what does /mu/ think?https://youtu.be/BuzGLpTx0L8
https://youtu.be/Z_MWG7UO2R4
The wipers cover is my buddy on guitar and bass with myself on vocals and the bad religion cover is me on guitar, bass and vocals.
you sound like the offspring
>>69612627
Ill take that as a compliment :P
>>69612644
Can make the guitar sound more like a buzzsaw like Hardcore? That would kick ass
SOTY 2016
My vote goes to "Black Beatles"
I just think it's a real banger.
>>69612393
>These two niggers came out of my home town
How fucking emberassing Jesus.
>>69612456
nah these guys great bro. go back to /pol/ or something.
>>69612491
>A song that literally is the soundtrack for acting like a brainless retard
