How do I stop "Nirvana - Drain You" from being on auto repeat in my brain?
Kurt wrote the catchiest songs.

*Deletes For Dinner, eats dinner between Washer and Good Morning Captain instead*
Finally, a 10/10 album
*deletes Don, Aman, steps outside between Nosferatu Man and Washer*
*Deletes Breadcrumb Trail, goes to an amusement park instead of listening to the album*

Interesting how indie rock hipsters are doing better prog than shitty metalhead 70's copycat like Steve Wilson.
Why are brits and swedes in particular so good at making music?
>swedes
>good at anything
>>72682796
thats interesting i never think of swedes or brits producing great music. Japs are first thing that come to mind for me

This
Just how authentic and experimental is Michael Gira's music? I feel as though I've changed my mind a good twenty times at this point. After hearing about Glenn Branca's influence on To Be Kind, and the Black Flag influence on Filth, I can't help but wonder if he crossed a line somewhere. Who else has he heavily relied on for inspiration during his career?
>>72682444
>the Black Flag influence on Filth
Ehhhhh if any band influenced early Swans it's Flipper
>>72682444
>Who else has he heavily relied on for inspiration during his career?
Why are you portraying this as a negative thing? Literally every other artist in every artform does this. That's part of the process.
>>72682537
I shouldn't have just said Black Flag, I meant their song Damaged I in particular.
>IN NEW YORK I MILLY ROCK
>HIDE IT IN MY SOCK
>RUNNING FROM AN OPP
>AND I SHOOT AT OPP

Are there any black Metallica fans?
Alright /mu/, today is a very special day, as it's the birthday of the lead singer of, like them or not, the most popular band of the last 40 years.
ITT: in his honor, please take the chance to post your favorite U2 song

Sounds a lot better than some of the stuff they've been putting out in the last few years.
>>72681812
It this supposed to be their last album?
Aww yes. This is going to be good. It sounds alot more sludgier that their current material. Back to the roots I'm guessing. I did notice on the website that they have "electronics" cited as instruments. I hope they go for a mix of sludge and electronic music of some sort but I'm guessing the electronics are just for noise which is cool too.

At least link the new music OP
