>>72682355
t. white guilt
Not really into punk but this fuckin blew my mind
>>72682701
Agreed 100%, m8.
>>72682459
Only Wilco I've listened to so idk
Couldn't believe I was listening to a BMTH album when I first heard it.
>>72682888
Wasn't a huge fan of Circa Survive before, but this was pretty good.
>>72682318
>Race classifying music
One of the greatest hip hop albums. Lyrically, it actually is the greatest hip hop album imo.
>>72682948
>>72682842
not good
>>72682967
Agreed, I remember listening to the whole thing on a long drive and it was super fun. Then Carly Rae Jepson was displayed as my top artist on spotify so I had to cool it.
>>72683105
>Carly Rae Jepson was displayed as my top artist on spotify so I had to cool it
why would you care? that album is really good, no one is going to judge ya
>>72683095
One of my all-time favorites
>>72683105
A Book of Human Language is excellent. Check out Imaginarium by L*Roneous if you haven't already. Has a similar vibe.
>>72683420
Yes this is also one of my favorites. When I first heard Human Language I thought it was the same guy but under a different name.
>>72683066
I guarantee there are very few minorities showing up to avalanches and wilco concert.
But no you're absolutely right, race ? What that got do wit sound waves. B colorblind, iz logicol
>>72683718
who gives a shit? listen to what you like and let others do the same
>>72682318
oogga booga you too
I thought it'd be a lot like Views, but it turns out that it was much better.
>>72681980
I know what you mean, played it when I was in a pretty soddy position expecting suicide music a la Deathconsciousness, instead, well things certainly changed for the better.
>>72684306
this
Her best album imo
Thought it was going to be some basic, plebeian shit. You know, more charting pop r&b bullshit.
It reeally caught me off guard, though. Some absolutely amazing songs on here with beautiful textures and sounds that are somehow able to evoke feeling of nostalgia, especially on tracks like Skyline To, and Nights.
If you haven't bothered to check out this album, because you assumed similar to what I did, do yourself a solid and check it out. You might just love it.
Was my AOTY.
>>72685832
you're a really close minded person and you listen to alot of people instead of your own opinion
fight me you bitches
>>72682842
fuck off
>>72686995
is a good album
Someone's already used E•MO•TION as theirs so...
>>72681980
>>72687476
That's not fucking Leonard Cohen, it's Anthony Bourdain eating a banana.
Especially since The King of Limbs sucked.
I thought it was going to be blandly dissonant and 2deep4me but it ended up being melodically and harmonically pleasing and a thoroughly enjoyable first listen
>>72687653
this, thought it was gonna be horrible noisy shit and only listened to it because of the cover
>>72687555
No you!
>>72684090
i never noticed the triangle in the guy's head until now. holy shit
Thought I was in for some death metal.
>>72685832
Same, I wasn't expecting it to be so experimental. Easily my 2016 AOTY
Nothing spectacular but not too bad
One of the best mainstream Pop albums of the 2000s
>>72682948
Modern Blassic.
>game n watch as madara is too fast for him and showing no mercy.jpg
>>72687151
Great album. Completely not what I expected from Manson.
>>72687555
This is working it's way into my number 1 Radiohead album.
>>72688299
Heavy shit. So glad CJ came back.
>>72687555
Were it not for historical context and the behemoths of Kid A and OK Computer, I'd say it's their best album.
>>72687500
what's up with Leonard Cohen and looking like celebrities on album covers
SUCH A GOD DAMN GOOD ALBUM WHAT THE FUCK.
fucking Retrovertigo gets me every time.
>>72683929
this a million times. thought it was gonna be elivs crossed with springsteen or some bullshit. seriously one of my favorite albums since finding it.
Expected generic fuzz-folk whatever and got one of my favorite albums ever
>>72690185
Expected some bland guitar rock with overdone off-key vocals. Wrong, basically the opposite. Now I love this band
>>72689963
This, I put this one off for so long cause why would I want to listen to clowncore but it's actually a great album
OOOGH
>>72690185
Great album. I was introduced to them when I saw them open for mewithoutYou. Frances came out and opened a solo version of Trouble Found Me and I immediately liked them. Their two EPs are equally good if not better.
>>72690235
Can't get into this album unfortunately
>>72685832
holy fuck this
>>72689963
Air conditioned nightmare is fucking lit
I though I didn't like ambient until I listened to pic related.
>>72689963
One of my favorite albums. Retrovertigo and None Of Them Knew They Were Robots are so fucking good.
>>72690638
Felt the saaaame exact way about this.
I remember I had it on in the background while I was finishing the last pages of IT and had to stop and listen to the album through. Good stuff.

Went in with no expectations except that it was from the artist behind 'Paper Planes'. Blew me away.
>>72685435
>>72689164
These took me by surprise, since the albums that came immediately before them were pretty awful.
>>72690732
This. 10/10 imo but I didn't like it when I first heard it

He could've made an album that was nowhere near as good as Good Kid m.A.A.d. City, but he didn't. Instead, he went on to make an album that was 10x better than anything he's ever done.
>>72682842

>>72687919

>>72683105
Wtf are you me? Had that exact experience with Carly Rae Jepson
>>72682421
This one for me, I didn't actually know about it till it beat Godspeed or something god-tier on those competition threads, had to see what beat my favorite band. Still don't agree but really love the album now.
