What is post-bop and what is the best post-bop album?

>Ween seem intent in proving that they can play instruments on Quebec (Sanctuary, 2003), but the result is that the duo is not even funny anymore. If they thought they could emulate Godspeed You Black Emperor (as in Alcan Road or If You Could Save Yourself), they were badly misguided. The truth is that even the best material, the hard-rocking It's Gonna Be a Long Night and Chocolate Town, would not have found space on their early albums.
>4/10
Is he right?
No. Quebec is terrific.
>>5024
>Is he right?
Never
>>5024
>the result is that the duo is not even funny anymore.
>waaah the band changed
yeah, he's 100% wrong
I expected more from Scaruffi desu
bumpo
Anyone know where can I find a rip of this? I have a copy but there's so much scratches I'd imagine theres some audiophile out there who ripped his pristine copy
bump for classical appreciation
Not sure if it's the same full score but Stokowski's music is available on spotify, including his Fantasia stuff.
>>5022
I know, but thats the 1990s version, which was made from the remastered version.
Whats nice about the 50s LP version is that its closer to how the original film sounded, complete with echo and more dynamics. the 1990 version basically removed all the echo and suffered from minor loudness war sound issues
I just found out im going to be a father and I am not even close to financially prepared
Music for this feel?
Stop posting these threads.
Saying "music for this feel?" does not make it music related.

I wish my father had this same thought in mind before he had me. Maybe I would've been aborted.

>tried to cash out on gays but ended up killing her career before it had even started
>obnoxious voice
>smug cunt who thinks she's more famous than she actually is
>lied to her naive fans multible times for some quick and easy money eventhough false advertisement and undisclosed sponsorship are illegal
>sounds atrocious live and expects that people at festivals sing with her eventhough no one knows her or her shitty lyrics
>horrible songwriter, her lyrics sound like they were written by an autistic old woman who still thinks she's young (OH WAIT)
>thinks she's beautiful and posts a million pictures of her hideous mug everyday eventhough she's ugly as fuck, aged like milk, is balding and probably smells bad irl
>extreme hypocrite, thinks she's better than top40 but makes generic pop garbo
>jealous of younger, prettier, more succesfull Charli
>tried to sell out and somehow failed at that aswell and then made a garbage album as an "apology" but that flopped aswell because she already blew her chance by trying to sell out on her SECOND album
>constantly lies, said she's vegan but posted a picture of herself eating pizza a day later. She hops on every trend in hopes of becoming relevant again (eventhough she never was relevant in the first place)
>thinks she's better than top40 just because she's not succesfull.
>will probably die alone without kids because she thinks she's too good for marriage because she says she needs it for her songwriting because she doesn't want to write songs about her husband(AUTISM)
>her womb is shrivelling up while you're reading this and in 5 year no one will remember she ever existed and she will have left nothing behind in this world expect her shitty music
yet there are STILL people who think she's not the worst female artist in existence.

This was one of the only songs I liked off their last album, I'm hoping Karin does more weird ambient stuff like this on her next project.
Albums only you think are beautiful
>slowdive spinoff
>only you have certain opinion of it
kek
All of the Mojave 3 albums are great, with the exception of their last album which is just meh. Band peaked at Excuses for Travellers.
>>4371
Bitch I have never seen a single soul in this hellhole discuss Mojave 3, take your patronizations elsewhere if you know what's good for you
Its basically Slowdive with less dream pop and more country
I'm trying to get back into metal music, but I feel like I've grown out of a lot of shit that I liked.
I still like shit like this, can anyone recommend me shit like this and Polyphia?

Hello Anonymous.
I saw a music video a few years ago, and I can't find it. I'm going to provide a description of what I can recall about it, and I kindly ask you to tell me if it's familiar to you.
I saw it on youtube some 3 to 5 years ago, and by the time I was immersed in scandinavian rock music such as Opeth, Sigur Ros, Lykke Li, Burzum and the like, so it's probably also by a band from Northern Europe.
The video is filmed in colour, and I think there were no special effects.
The story is about a few guys and a girl. They find themselves in a snowy forest in the company of a shaman, apparently in medieval times. They apparently have hallucinations or are in the altered state of consciousness; there's some operator work to emphasize that, such as weird, bizarrely shifting points of view. The shaman tells them that they, for some reason, have to embark on a harsh journey, and that "yes, there will be sacrifices" (this phrase I think I remember literally) but they have to go anyway.
The next cut I remember is them striding purposefully across a sunny, sandy desert, from the right of the screen leftwards. The journey is apparently of considerable hardship to them: they look wearied, dehydrated and their step limp. At one point someone falls on the ground; the company only notice after a few dosen meters, so they go back and help the fallen one stand up; they keep walking. After a while, the girl is shown dying and is left on the sand of the desert. This was a heartbreaking moment to me.
Eventually, the journey is over and the folks emerge from something that looks like an abandoned modern concrete underground tunnel complete with graffiti tags. The company look at loss about the purpose of their undertaking.
I don't remember anything specific about the music. It may have been post rock, or a progressive metal piece, or a post-modern ethnic track. I'm pretty sure it was not sympho black, nor a rock'n'roll.
I hope you can help me out, Anonymous. I'm desperate.
Nobody?
What does the rusky meme say

Is this album good?
>>3867
this album makes the hunter look like a masterpiece
It wasn't thattt bad. But for a "progressive" metal album it was really unfulfilling in that sense.
>>3868

>>18524
How did you get past the no singles policy?
Flawed but enjoyable.
It fucking sucks yet it's regarded as a """""masterpiece"""""".
Its as real as it gets
also the lyrics and songwriting is top notch listen to it a few times
>>23074

Real as in authentic with personality and emotion that doesn't seem forced or fake

I know Billy Joel is momrock but I honestly love his first album, Cold Spring Harbor.
It has a very poetic, honest, somber "bottom of your heart" feeling to it, unlike his others albums where he's putting on a character.
nah man all his big singles are kino
