>IS THIS THE MODERN MUSICAL POET GENIUS OF OUR TIMES?
>*Jewish producer rubbing hands together in the background*
>Pusher 1 is like post-punk. Bleeder is glam rock. Fear X is Eno, who ended up making the music for the movie. Pusher II was Iron Maiden. Pusher 3 was Neil Diamond. Bronson was Pet Shop Boys. Valhalla Rising - Einstürzende Neubauten. So I can only write a movie when I know what it's going to sound like.
What does /mtv/ think about Nicolas Winding Refn?
i don't see how pusher 1 is like post-punk, and i don't see bronson as the pet shop boys.
regardless, he's still /ourguy/.
it's funny, he used to look like a chad when he was younger.
NWR is /ourguy/
let's talk about our similarities

>Did you ever hear the tragedy of Tangerine the Tangerine? I thought not. It’s not a story the Justice League would tell you. It’s a DC legend. Darth Tangerine was a Dark Tangerine of the League of Tangerine Shadows, so powerful and so wise he could use the tangerines to influence the child to create rubies… He had such a knowledge of tangerines that he could even keep the ones he cared about from getting scurvy. The dark side of the Tangerine is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be the size of a child. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his tangerines, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his tangerine everything he knew, then his tangerine killed him in his sleep. Tangironic. He could save others from tangerines, but not a tangerine.

Clicked on thread just for this.
>His power was intangible
The soundtrack is so good on this. So is the sound in general. How did they do it /mtv/?
Truffaut understood that music and imagery are important
Tarkovsky also had some amazing soundtracks.
Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where, uh, Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don't you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as, uh, anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your ass. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and, uh, Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.

That's funny.
What's funnier than this is that he's a fucking millionaire, fucking 10/10's left and right, and directing epic fucking movies while you ugly losers post on an imageboard all day and haven't even kissed a girl. I know why you hate him so much. It's because you're all jealous. You all want to be movie directors, but it won't ever happen in your pathetic lives because you don't have what it takes. Bay does, and that's why Bay gets paid the big bucks. Bay doesn't give a fuck about any of you or about this fucking Transformers bullshit (as he just showed) Keep jacking off to pictures of celebrities while they're the ones jacking Bay off. Fuck off, faggots.
