Finished watching Zambot 3 some days ago and I'm still kinda thinking about what I saw. I think it's a pretty fine show with some great plot Ideas for its time but the writing feels so raw and sometimes inconsistent (like some other Tomino's works) that drags it down and waste some of its potential.
What do you guys think about it?

Does SRW Z3 do anything interesting with Laplace's Box? Either turn it into something less retarded than an original Constitution, or at least alter the wording so that the 'shocking' missing article isn't already rendered moot by other sections. And if it's still the same, does 'space people' take on any expanded meaning within the context of the combined SRW setting, or does it still just cover Newtypes?

Did people have trust in it though? It seems pretty clear that it's well known the Federation is massively corrupt. It's really just retreading the 'Federation are corrupt dicks' stuff that was already covered in Hathaway's Flash.
Unicorn also has the problem of being bound to the canon of previous installments that take place further down the timeline. I have trouble seeing how reduced trust in the government explains why the EF is still using outdated Jegans 30 years later. Before unicorn was ever a thing it was implicit that the EF just got lazy and complacent with no significant new enemies to fight, after having crushed what was left of Zeon in CCA.
