What is the best way to experience Getter Robo?
At first I had started with the original manga, but I got a little confused halfway through since it seemed as though the artstyle had completely changed, and the story had advanced a few chapters without me in Volume 2.
Aside from this, there seems to be A TON of "New Getter Robo" series, movies and such on the side. From the little I've seen of these, it seems interesting how it all links together. I'm wondering what I should really sink my teeth into now?
Getter Robo Armageddon is probably the best. I honestly think the manga is kinda overrated, but that's just me.

It's one of those things were it is over rated since it can never match the hype it gets, but it's still good.
>>14439706
I'd finish the manga up to Shin Getter before moving on to other stuff.
As for the anime, all 3 of the OVAs are great. They're mostly self-contained so you can watch them in any order
Fucking happening edition
Where were you when the A-12 existed?

How much justice is needed in order for justice and justice to become one?
At least five pints of justice, though it's frothier with six.
JUSTICE
>Super Robot Wars Justice
>didn't have J-Decker
>didn't have a single Yuusha series
What were they thinking?

Unless they announce that teams shit is over and the MC is not using a karate suit I dont care.
Though I would like to see some custom IBO/Greco/Thunderbolt suits appear in a GBF show.
You're all wrong. The new series is IBO-S2, while the GBF bits are for the OVA's
Sup /m/.
So, I just watched F91.
What the fuck was that?
No, I'm serious, can someone explain F91 to me? That was confusing as fuck.
They had an idea for a 50-episode TV series.
They had to turn it into a movie when they where finished around episode 13 of that series.
>>14465657
What was confusing?
>>14465657
>can someone explain F91 to me?
Aggressive spacenoid militants take over a colongy and declare independence and the it's up to the Feds to get them back in line again and maintain the status quo. It's your basic Gundam plot line we've seen several times already. How is it confusing?
This is fucking stupid.
Also, when are they going to finish scanlating this, it's been like a decade.
what the fuck is that

If G-Reco takes place after Turn-A, then why do they act like the UC just ended?
Because either it was intended to be before Turn A then Tomino changed it in that interview at the last second to spite timelinefags, or because everyone is being a hipster for Black History shit.
Given that no one ever cares that much about history to begin with, coupled with literally nothing from Turn A getting mentioned, I'm going to assume it's just Tomino being a jackass again.
>>14464487
Because Tomino is a retard, news at eleven.
>>14464666
G-Lucifer has Moonlight Butterfly and the labs were studying ancient mobile suit designs.
Wouldn't Char have had an easy time accomplishing his goals if he had just bode his time while remaining with Zeon and staying close with Haman and Mineva and arranging a political marriage, until it was the right time to reveal himself as Casval, heir to the Deikun dynasty, while being married/betrothed to the heir of the Zabi dynasty and uniting all of space under his cause?
>>14464480
Because Char wasn't really a schemer. He was impulsive and took things as they came.
>>14464480
Yeah sure, betray your followers by marrying the bloodline that killed Daikun while alienating Zeon because you hate the Zabis. Good, good.
>>14464510
>Yeah sure, betray your followers by marrying the bloodline that killed Daikun
If he hated her that much merely because of her blood relation to the rest of them, why the fuck didn't he just kill her before he left the Zeon?
>while alienating Zeon
Why would this alienate Zeon?

Post Ginguiser
>>14464399
Huh, didn't expect another pervy-fueled release for this so soon (since Daltanious got good traction lately), but thanks again.
Would you say the Federation's victory was ultimately made hollow with the loss of Revil? The only good man among his joint chiefs was John Kowen and he was presumably gagged(probably killed) to make way for Gene Coliny and Jamitov Hymen's forming the Titans.
So how exactly could things have changed (or gotten better) had Revil lived at A Baoa Qu? I'm aware Gihren's Greed supposedly goes a little further into this but don't quite know the whole story behind that.
>>14463544
The Federation's victories are relatively hollow because Zeon somehow always pulls another insurgent army out of its asshole and everything gets progressively suckier as the timeline moves on BECAUSE NO ONE CAN ADMIT THAT SPACENOIDS ARE CRAZY
Well for starters this is kinda a dumb question because if Revil survived then that would mean Degwin would have also survived. This means the whole post-war arrangement with the Republic of Zeon would have been completely different.
>>14463614
I think it would be like the Japan situation. Place Zeon under perpetual ceasefire without ever actually signing a treaty and have it be a reason for future conflicts. While there is no Zeon resurgence, there is a rise of Zeon Reprisal movements aka anti Zeon groups looking to cripple EF's influence for not fully putting their boots on the necks of the butchers
What does /m/ think of Vipers Creed?
>>14463389
Concept was alright, designs were okay, story was kind of weak. So, not terrible, but could have been better.
>>14463389
I liked it up until the end where the absolute genius bishie villain who's sooooo perfect also turned out to, surprise, be an ace pilot with a prototype mech that's better than the Vipers' units, for reasons.
I fucking hate that character archetype and Japan's obsession with it makes me want to die.
>>14463389
excellent under rated anime
