Another day, another uninspiring EDC of mine.
>>28550369
Hello, /out/
How do you like the Solomon boots? I'm debating between buying Merrell MOABs and Solomons.
Just as a hypothetical, what are /k/'s thoughts of a knife's blade being made completely out of diamond? Laser cut, and extremely strong material, besides the price, what problems would there be? Pic somewhat related
>it chips
>no worries I'll just sharpen it
diamond is brittle as fuck, and good luck sharpening that shit too considering it being hard as fuck too.
also, with dumasscus steel knives costing what they do, do you think knife compnies aren't going to try to mark it up like a bitch
>>28549554
Diamond would break pretty easily.
whats a good special snowflake affordable >700 carry gun?

>This loophole enables a firearm owner to use a bullet or other pointed object to quickly detach and replace a weapon’s ammunition magazine, converting a rifle into a semi-automatic assault weapon.
They're trying to ban bullet buttons now...
>Using an item as its intended purpose is now a "loophole"?
When will this meme die?

Shit beer, shit gun can't see cigar but probably shit based on previous.
I shall commandeer your thread and turn into into non-brokefag edition, OP.

Don't seem broke to me OP.
Looks breddy good.
Will a 10mm Glock stop a kodiak bear? Or even just a Grizzly?
Should my bear hunting sidearm be a .45 or .44 mag just to be safe?
>>28547331
A bear was taken down with 5.45x39mm up here before, and even .45.
>>28547331
Snub nose 460 or 500S&W would probably be my preference.
I'd like to believe 9x25 Dillon would work but I don't think anyone's really tested it. On the other hand you could dump a 17 round mag and modest recoil as opposed to teeth chattering, 5 shot clunky ass revolvers.
.44 mag is pretty much the standard in terms of the pistol cartridges power you'll want to have in case a grizzly gets mad at you.
This is fucking embarrassing. If this had happened to Imperial Japanese Army, they would have committed seppuku by now.
Anyway, what went wrong?
sounds like some sort of deliberate PR thing by obongo
didn't work out as he intended
Yawn

>If this had happened to Imperial Japanese Army, they would have committed seppuku by now.
But anon, their whole country surrendered.
what is US gun law on muskets and muzzle loaders and breech loaders? are they as restricted as case ammo firearms? what about in the euros?
>>28547158 there not technically considered a firearm in us law
>>28547158
According to US law muzzleloaders are antiques, not firearms.
Anyone over 18 can buy them.
In Europe the same usually applies, but the guns in question have to be actual antiques, not reproductions.
That is to say they have to be manufactured before like 1890.
>>28547180
then what about the ones that are actually made in the past years within 3 years time?
How would an operator operate operationally against aliens?
By getting nuked from space.

http://thedcbrief.tumblr.com/post/136881446140/the-queen-of-england-promises-to-take-back
>>The Queen of England has issued a promise to her subjects that she will invade the United States of America if Donald J. Trump is elected President in November of this year.
>>“Should Mr Trump be elected we will take back America by force and place it once again under colonial rule,” her Majesty said in a statement this morning.
Let's assume this is actually real. How badly would this go for either side? What would the conclusion be?
Assume that the UK takes the first aggressive move by, say, launching sorties against American ships. What happens?
Standard rules apply:
>>No countries on Earth may use nukes
>>If another country intervenes, you must specify why
>>28546391
England gets fucking wrecked, Scotland and N. Ireland are set free. War over in a year at most.
>>28546391
Atlantic fleet would meet RN in the north atlantic, US air force would be patrolling as far out as greenland easily. I think there are still US troops in the UK. We'd know about it before it happened.
UK stahp.
>>28546408
>Scotland and N. Ireland are set free.
They remain part of the UK out of choice. Unwillingly set them free? I'm not sure that's a good idea, given your track record.
When will you yanks learn?
Are these really this expensive?
I bought one a couple years ago from a friend for $650. I had to sell it, now I'm looking to get one for my dad since he liked mine so much.
I've skimmed gunbroker and even the used ones I've seen are near retail. What do?
>>28545495
$1,000 nib isn't too bad for the tactical model.
btw, the fnx45 is $6-700 but the fnx45 tactical is $9-1100.
That's about right for the tactical model.
If you don't need the threaded barrel and shit, just get the FNX

Germany there, shit's slowly getting tough there, so I wanted to buy for me and my gf good pepper spray. I have knife, I have airsoft gun, but shit's useless since police fucks you in the ass even if it was defense.
Which would you recommend? Also stream or fog? How many ml? And so on. Personally heard some good things about Fox Labs pepper sprays, but I don't know much about them in the first place.
Also, any recs for good brass knuckles? Today in Germany you really never know which defense you will need to use.
>>28544452
Depends on what you want
I own one it fits two of my fingers and has points on it, pretty good for cracking ribs
>>28544478
I went to boxing for five years, wanted to start again, but had not enough time.
I'm more worried about my gf, can't really equip her with this shit and really myself won'treally use violence since laws are too strict and you can't touch dem rapefugees. Pepper spray and brass knuckle into jaw or rib is best for me, just an useful pepper spray is good for my gf.
Is coastal artillery still a good thing?
Would they help a relatively small nation defend from an invasion from a bigger and stronger nation?
If not, what kind of things are good for stopping invasions?
If they don't have air cover to protect the coastal guns, they're dog meat against enemy air, and if the defenders have that much air, no one is going to be making any kind of coastal landing. So, no, they're not a thing.
>>28543908
>If not, what kind of things are good for stopping invasions?
Nuclear weapons
Powerful allies
Not having anything worth stealing
A combination of these have led to relative world peace over the last 50 years.
For some reason it still exists but it's pretty pointless in an age where the only way artillery survives is either to be extremely mobile or to have complete air dominance, and the two countries I know of that still field it (Finland and Taiwan) can't hope for air dominance over their nearest threat (Russia and the PRC)
Three Gun Edition.
No, not that three gun.
Since arsenal threads are 99% reposts and dick waving contests, lets narrow it down.
Post your three favorites.

My three favorites are the only three I have.

Good idea, I'll have to see if I can find a picture on my google drive.
Otherwise I'll just have to wait till I get off of work.
