>tfw one of the reasons you own a gun is for a painless and easy way of self-termination when needed
Anybody else feel the same way?
>>28518490
I wouldn't call death by self-inflicted gunshot painless; so no.
>>28518490
same here op. just waiting for my mom to die then im out
>>28518490
If I wanted to kill myself, which I never would, then I wouldn't shoot myself and I certainly wouldn't do it without making it as big of a statement as i could. It would be on the news. I'd die doing something so crazy only a person with a death wish would do. It'd be such a waste otherwise.
have guns peaked?
Combat dildos.
caseless ammo
rockets
railguns
lasers

Are you a man amongst men? Do you own guns and are you legally able to do so? If so come join us at kik #innawoods post your kik name in this chat and you will be invited in.

Why would someone do this
>>28515702
Because I hate myself.
pic related All the mags for both P238 and P938 that I saw are either 6 or 7 rounds. Nice guns, but it sucks to keep reloading at the range. Are there higher capacity mags for these pistols?
>>28515330
Maybe you could make one and be the first to sell it.
>>28515330
Do you actually enjoy shooting those kinds of guns? Just curious because I'm looking at one for cc
>>28519525
Not OP but the P238 shoots like a dream.
>Saudi Arabia has turned down a US Navy offer to build four frigates based on the Lockheed Martin littoral combat ship (LCS) design
>Reportedly, the Saudis balked at the price tag for the MMSC package – thought to be more than $3 billion but less than $4 billion – and were unhappy with the time it would take to complete detail design of the ships, carry out systems integration, build the vessels, deliver them and install infrastructure improvements in the kingdom.
>One source thought the time to deliver the first ship would be around seven years, which the Saudis reportedly think is excessive.

>>28512736
well...i don't blame the arabs. Shit is expensive as fuck.
>The US wants nearly 4 billion for 4 retarded corvettes
EPIC
>>28512736
This is just a god damned convertte that costs a billion piece.... Why the fuck would anyone pay that much for a fucking convertte that much? And I believe Saudis are more interested in Turkshit arms now as they need them to have a regional/muslim ally that can push Iran around if things come to that rather than ''evil, infidel America''
I mean, it has a great range, stability and speed but for fucks sakes... 1 billion a piece.
Are there secret space stations, comparable to the ISS? Would it be possible to hide an elaborate program like that?
Is there such a thing as a clandestine rocket launch?
Are militaries planning for space warfare over asteroids or the moon?
Thread is open to anything related to weapons and warfare as practiced in space currently and near future
Too expensive, the ISS is $100 billion dollars. Better to spend a billion a piece on small fancy spy satellites.
>Is there such a thing as a clandestine rocket launch?
Not really, it's hard to hide a giant flaming tube flying through the sky.
>>28511676
I have wondered this as well, their a great deal of people who leak info all the time.
>>28511676
>Are there secret space stations, comparable to the ISS? Would it be possible to hide an elaborate program like that?
No
>Is there such a thing as a clandestine rocket launch?
No
>Are militaries planning for space warfare over asteroids or the moon?
No
Didn't see one in the catalog so let's have one. Questions that don't deserve their own thread thread.
When I'm buying a gun online, like through Atlantic Firearms, do I buy it as myself and have it sent to the FFL of my choosing, or do I have the purchase done by the FFL of my choice?
>>28510117
Buy it as yourself, ship it to the FFL.
>>28510117
The couple times I've done it I bought it myself and had it shipped to the FFL.
>>28510165
>>28510170
Do I need to talk to the guy at the FFL location beforehand?
So, I just got my test results in the mail for NYPD and I did pretty damned well, will probably be getting called in for the interview and such within a few months. I'm pretty stoked.
Can we discuss all things LEO?
Also: NYPD Officers get to choose from 3 sidearms to carry on duty, and several to carry off duty. The choices are
On Duty:
Sig Sauer P226 DAO
Glock 19
Smith & Wesson 5946
Off Duty:
Glock 26
Smith & Wesson 3914 DAO
Smith & Wesson Model 640 in .38
Sig Sauer P239
Beretta 8000D Mini Cougar
The On Duty firearms are all 9mm with a 12lb NY-2 Trigger.
I'm planning to go with the Sig P226 for On Duty, and I'm still undecided about the off duty, thoughts?
>>28509396
For mags and ammo commonality the only factually correct answer is G19 and G26. 12lb trigger is ridiculous, though.
Have fun enforcing lots of BS laws though. Just remember "I was just following orders" didn't work for the Nazis, and it won't work for you after The Happening.
American LEO in general are shit-tier. Discuss.
>>28509589
Can we get an elaboration on that, or is this just "They have guns, Europeons don't, Europeons are better" thing? Cities like NYC, Jersey City, Newark Boston and others have pretty good police, and especially good SWAT/ESU/SOG teams.
Footage of Mexican Marines raiding El Chapo's safehouse has been released.
https://youtu.be/vPhFWHJsgkc
>>28508363
excellent footage. It's always cool to see real raids and how easy it is to get bogged down at chokepoints
>>28508363
Someone mp4 this shit in case it gets taken down
>>28508363
Was this a Micheal J. Fox operation?
It's hard to see what is even going on with all that shake.
Hey /k/, My son has been shooting the .22 LR for a while, but he wants something "Bigger" He's just turned 14, and is quite short, only 4'7. I have an SKS, Mosin Nagant, and 30 ought 6. I dont thing the 30O6 would be good, nor the Nagant, but the SKS seems ok, what do you all think.
Pic related, is exactly what my SKS looks like.
>>28506401
>14
>4'7"
how does it feel to be raising a manlet?
>>28506401
>pic related is exactly what my SKS looks like
>as if /k/ users wont know what youre talking about
I was shooting .303 and .308 at his age with my pappy and uncle, you can start him on the SKS but he should be able to handle proper 30 cal at his age
also
>tripfag
you're a faggot
>>28506415
Feels gud m8
How does it feel not to be raising a child and contributing nothing to society?
Why doesn't the military use Amtrak for non-emergency troop transport? Amtrak offers pretty good discounts for active duty soldiers. Not even trying to troll/shitpost here, it is a cheaper alternative then flying everyone around but isn't the hell that Greyhound is.
I mean, it's not like anyone normal takes Amtrak because it's so slow, and so all the extra seats ought to be used by someone.
>>28506375
Flights are quicker.
Once your leave begins, it begins. Nobody wants to spend half their leave on a train
>>28506375
Because even the military, who regularly screws over soldier and puts them in god forsaken parts of the world, aren't big enough dicks to put them on American passenger rail.
>>28506375
I assume because they need an excuse to use those C130
Is .300 Blackout the greatest meme cartridge of all time? I know that 6.8 was supposed to be, but that never caught on.
.300 blackout has baller ballistics bro
I really want an ar chambered in 300 blackout. but only if I can get my hands on a suppressor.
Why does /k/ hate anything that's new and good?
A thought crossed my mind today, why exactly has 30 cartridges become standard capacity for almost every countries magazines? I'm guessing there's a little more to it than just picking some random number and having it stick, why not 40 round magazines, or 20, 25, 35, ext...
Just to clarify I'm not asking why every country has the same standard ammunition capacity for their assault rifles (most at least), but rather why 30 is that number
Probably has to do with springs and the way that mags have to be curved past a certain capacity to feed properly.
>>28504937
have you tried 40 round mags? I've never used one that didn't suck if you loaded it all the way to 40.
It has to do with weight, maneuverability and ergonomics.
Sort of like cars and gas tank capacities, it would be retarded to have a Prius with a 32 gal tank same with a truck with a 12 gallon tank.
She breaks into your house and is trying to kill you.
What do?
>>28501803
kill her then call amber lamps
grab her, tie her up in the basement, you know what comes next
