How important is the RPG launcher for the flight of the rocket?
Could an RPG rocket fly somewhat straight without being launched out of a tube?

Since it's essentially a recoilless rifle that fires a rocket assisted warhead, the launcher is important. Those blue/green sticks attached to the back of OPs faggot pic related are the charge that fires the fucker out of the thing.
It can still work well without the rocket motor igniting, but not the other way around.

Tailfins are what allow it to fly straight. If one fails to deploy the warhead will hit the ground ~10m ahead of the launcher.

Hey /k/
I'm about to begin the process for a firearm license here (Australia), and I'm basically limited to choosing from a bolt action, lever action, pump action, or break action centre-fire rifle. The obvious choice is bolt action, so that's what I want to buy.
I'm looking for a rifle that's affordable, and good value for money, with the primary applications being target shooting and hunting smallish game (foxes, wild pigs, etc.). I also prefer synthetic furnishings, especially olive/ranger green and FDE.
I'm also on the fence about which caliber to get. I'm leaning towards .223, as it's cheap and widely available, and will be suitable for most hunting applications I intend to use.
I haven't looked far, but the Ruger American Predator looks like a good choice.

I have used firearms quite a bit I forgot to add.
I was a rifleman in the Army Reserve (equiv. to your National Guard) for 2 years, and regular army for 6 months.
I don't know what it is, but .22 just doesn't appeal to me. Maybe it's because I haven't used one, maybe it's just because it's small. I dunno. It also wouldn't have much hunting application here for anything except rabbits (and I'd be happy to turn rabbits into gibblets with larger calibers as I don't want the pelts or meat, and they're feral pests), or possibly foxes.
This rifle will be my only rifle for a long time as I'm a student, already have other relatively costly hobbies, and don't earn enough to buy more than one firearm a year I'd say. With that, I figure I'd be better off with a larger caliber.
