I've been debating between getting the Glock 19, Glock 26, and the Shield. I plan to carry without a holster. What's my best bet? I really want to stick with 9mm.

This is dumb, unless you're planning on carrying Israeli. Which is also dumb. Also carrying Israeli without a holster is dumb. You're dumb. Stop learning gun shit from movies and music videos.

Nogunz here. I have a clean criminal record but I was involuntarily committed for a few days like 4 years ago(divorce caused me to be pretty depressed). I know this bars me from a CHL but would I even be able to purchase a handgun in Texas with this background?

Sorry dude, it will probably come up on your background check when you go to purchase and they will deny you.

You will need to lawyer up and spend a few grand getting it expunged if it happens.
>>
>>32499192
Nope, sorry. I don't even know if you can get this removed, seeing how the federal government stripped the funding from the firearms rights restoration program back in 1992

I think it will be "rifles" that are legally pistols and shoot pistol rounds

receivers that look case hardened
a flood of slavshit

Looking to get a quality entrenching tool.

I live in Canada, where it snows. I just want to have a small shovel to stow away in the trunk of my automobile in case my vehicle stalls in the snow.

As an aside, Lag bolts and eye bolts (as attached) can be employed to anchor your rope if you ever need to rappel off a roof down the vertical face of a timber building to kick ass and take names.

Bear in mind however installing the bolt requires driving it with a hammer, or using a drill. Both methods of installation create noise which may alert hostiles within the building. Also, screwing the lag bolt itself into timber by hand is time consuming. All in all, I give the idea of using lag bolts for combat scenarios a 1.5/10. Just a fun thought to consider.

This is a good tool to screw in eye bolts. It is called a scaff key. It is also useful for doing up the plate on a band and plate tube coupler.

This is an image of a band and plate pinching two tubes together. The U shaped bit of metal is the band. The square with the bolt through it is the plate.

The band & plate is the strongest scaffold coupler on the market. There are several variations if it.

NATO spec E-tools should work for you. If you want a longer one with some leverage, then you can get an old US one from around Nam and have a good wooded shafts and a decent spade

Hello everyone, my name is Cassie. You will all know me one day, when I am dictating over you

I am going to use my vast knowledge to create weapons that will make me invincible. So I am looking to meet here with great minds
1. Do you think Plasma shields are feasible?

2. Using solar energy as means of creating something more powerful than nuclear fusion, is it feasible?

I am a boy

/k/, I've been depressed pretty much all year. Living in California is terrible. I'm poor personally, and my rights are being trampled on. Regardless, I have enough money to buy a firearm. I've looked on in envy at many of you who have inherited guns from your family members or who are gifted firearms. My grandpa's are dead. Died when I was young. My father's father died when he was a kid. My family is disfunctional at times. But I love my family immensely. Especially my father. He works so hard to provide for us that I want to give him a gift. I have $450 that I can spend.

I thought of buying a firearm for myself but couldn't decide. Now I know that there's more to gain in giving my dad his first gun even since he moved from his country here at age 17. What hunting rifle is worth buying?
I'm looking for:
>.308 win
>1-2moa accuracy
>decent profile barrel
>decent starter glass (included)
>easily upgraded

Please, I've posted a wall of text but I hope you can help me make it up to my dad. His work ages him and I want him to enjoy himself for once. I know he wants a rifle..photo of my pupper

Its the T-64 of our lifetime. Crammed full with all kinds of cool stuff but not mature or tough/rugged enough to survive in battle.

The first Russian tank with good gun depression though, thats a plus.

For those of you who carry and clear their guns regularly has anyone noticed any major bullet setbacks?
Do you rotate rounds after awhile or do you just ignore it?

I never chamber the same round twice in a semi auto
It doesn't affect me too much since I mostly carry a revolver
>>
>>32497702
Not unless you chamber them all day will that happen, just kind of keep an eye on them, shuffle a bullet from lower in the mag if you're worried
>>
>>32497702
I dont un chamber too often but have definitely seen slight markings on bullets that have been chambered a few times. I just put them to the bottom of the mag and make sure to spend them in my next range trip.

Tacticool can be practicool. Just like any other gun. As long as the modifications are quality and support the intended final use of the rifle, it's a good choice.

"Rifle is fine" was funny exactly one time. Everybody taking the comment as gospel is an idiot.

Just like anything else they can be good, if you do it right. I like them

I just went to a gunshow and bought pic related, some surplus Ecuadorian ammo. On the box it says: "Ejercito Ecuaroriano" and "15 Cartuchos 'SS' Cal. 7,92mm"
Is this ammo any good? What does the "ss" mean? It says 1955 on the bottom of the cartridge itself. Also with an "A" on either side of the primer. Anyone have any idea about that? Any information would be appreciated.

I know that a JS marking in European or German ammo means something like Jeager Spitzer or infantry pointed. Maybe infantry in Spanish starts with an S?

Hey /k/ me and a friend are going to do the stalker challenge as a fun thing before I go to BCT this coming week. Where is the best place to do it within about 3-5 hours from new orleans. My google skill are only turning up public parks with campgrounds where I imagine all the guns would cause a fuss and its not very stalker. Anyone know some good swampland or spots in large park where we won't be bothered.

Only thing I can slight it for is it's a bit unwieldy for CCW if you planned on doing that.

What pistol can I get in 10mm that was truly designed for that round? Nearly every gun I've seen (save the Bren Ten) is a 1911 or Glock that's redesigned to accept it. Are there any others built for it from the ground up?

Just curious, are the Glocks in 10mm basically the same functionally as, say, a 9mm, just with a beefier barrel (and some minor changes to the frame ofc)?
