how different would the middle east be if islam never touched it at all? would it have been a beacon of progressiveness and civilisation? or was it doomed for strife no matter what?

That depends on a whole range of factors. Until you've qualified those it doesn't make much sense to discuss it
>>
we cannot possibly know

Itd be the same. Look at the economy of south america, africa, asia

Tell me about the Roman occupation of Greece (why do they wear the tunics? etc.)

How did they acquire Greece? Everything I've read just simply states that they did so in 146 BC with little detail.

Was Greece an autonomous province because of how much the Romans had a hard-on for Hellenic culture?

How many wars between the two was there?

Both Greece and Rome were polytheistic. Were Greece still allowed to worship their own gods since they were pretty much the same as the Romans.

Roman architecture is obviously influenced by the Greeks. Was it different before the Roman occupation of Greece?

There were a series of wars between Rome and Macedon, some small states asked for Roman protection which is how they got involved in Greece. The Athenians and others also rebelled and they were put down by Sulla which I think is the last time the Greeks really tried to stop Roman domination.
>>
>>876628
If I'm not mistaken wasn't Macedon seperate to Greece? I know that after Alexander died mainland Greece was carved up into a bunch of city states, with Macedon becoming it's own kingdom.

Also didn't the Greeks support Carthage in one of the Punic wars?
>>
>>876632
Macedon was separate but it was also the hegemon in Greece. Once Rome eventually defeated it the Romans naturally began to be the hegemon in Greece and then absorbed the various states within it over a century.

I'm not even a Muslim but seriously this shit will never work. Islam will never, and doesn't need to bow to secular humanist thought, which is really not much better than it.

can someone explain this map?
the way I see things, haplogroup I (I1 & I2) represent the old mesolithic hunter-gatherers of Europe
as we got neolithic haplogroups, these old ones were pushed back

so it makes sense that I is higher in Scandinavia, and it grows less common from there
but why is Bosnia so high in it?

during the neolithic revolution, indo-europeans pushed in from the east while meds pushed from the south west, the changes were drastic like the displacement of hunter gatherer native americans

the nuragics, hamangia (balkans) and Cucuteni Trypillian culture remained uncucked as they adopted agriculture rapidly through trade and resisted migrations

then later the nords migrated into Germany and north western europe

You can't circle jerk unless you're in the circle jerk. That's the way circle jerks operate.
>>
>>874424
You could probably try but you'd have a hard time and I'm not sure how you'd do it. There used to be a lot of "open" peer-reviewed journals that would allow anyone to publish as long as it was decent enough. But as usual, people in the natural sciences couldn't handle this kind of democracy and in their autistic rage decided to fuck the whole concept of open journals after what's known as the Sokal affair.

There's nothing to get about it, that's the joke.

Anyone here read this book?

It's pretty useful for shutting Muslim apologists and SJWs the fuck up.

Written by a Spaniard so there's some obvious bias there, but for the most part I found it to be a factual look at the atrocities that the Muslims carried out in Iberia, and helps illustrate why the Christian Reconquest was not only tame in comparison, but was well deserved.

Which means it's probably filled with gross exaggerations and stating things everybody already knew but had already contextualized far better and you just like it because it spoon feeds you shit you already believed were true before you even read it.

I have this idea for the power of ridicule (from satire and grotesque to plain ol' ad hominem)...

Basically my point is that ridiculing an idea, and even a person (which, again, includes insults like "you're an idiot") is an adequate way of accomplishing the following goals:

1. The other party will be discouraged from expressing their ideas in front of you
2. The other party will become ashamed from their ideas
3. You will form a stronger bond with the people who, like you, disagree with the other party

Which in turn is very likely to have the following negative side effects:

1. The other party will hate you and might retaliate or become depressed
2. The other party could feel like a martyr and grow an even stronger bond with their ideas
3. Kindhearted observers may defend the other party and through their sympathy for the person create an illusion for being sympathetic to their ideas as well

Is there any scientific work on the subject? Any papers or something?

Can we ever say that ridiculing or insulting somebody is the "right way to go"? When is it helpful to society to ridicule people? When (if ever) is it helpful for the people being ridiculed?

Use the Jews as cannon fodder instead of sending them to death camps.
Kill Mussolini and install more competent puppets. Sell the Italian and French colonies to the Brits for a non aggression treaty. Lock down Europe. Organize and communicate with Japan. Convince them not to attack the US. Wait until the middle of Spring. Kill the Commies with no distractions and a few million "undesirable" waves. Meet the Japanese advancing from the East, exterminate all Slavs. Split Asia and Africa with the Japs and Brits.
The world is now free to exterminate the last threat to civilization; Islam.
