Who ruined white nationalism?
>>884070
Hitler.
White nationalists
Have white Nationalism ever had any popular support at any time in History?
As I get it all sorts of nationalism through history have been either religious or culturally based.
Not even the Nazis or the KKK was much for white nationalism in the end, having some white group that they hated either because their genes, their religion or their culture.
Anything from Bronze age European cultures is welcomed.
Pic related a Nuraghe from Sardinia, there are more than 7000 of them still standing, archeologists theorized there were around 10000 during the bronze age, they were mainly built between 1600 and 1100 bc.
Their original function is still hotly discussed.

They almost surely were not used as mansions, during that time people lived in either circular stone huts, or sometimes rectangular houses with different rooms, but the latter were less usual.
They probaby were not fortresses either at least most of them, except maybe the castle looking ones like Barumini or Arrubiu.
So it's been theorized by some that they were astronomical observatories and some interesting light pehomena occur in many of them, though I'm not an expert on the subject.
>>883982
In some cases, like pic related, a settlement was built around the structure, in this case we have a Nuraghe consisting on many different towers and layers of walls, built in a span of different centuries during the late bronze age, this is one of the cases in which the structure could have been used as a fortress, Barumini (the nuraghe I'm talking about) is a UNESCO site.

The Nuraghi weren't the only type of monument built by the Nuragic civilization.
The water well temples are also quite common, even though less numerous than the Nuraghi, there is still quite a good number of them.
Some of them, like pic related (Santa Cristina) display a good knowledge of architecture, but not only that, apparently they were used as astronomical observatories too, according to astronomer Arnold Lebeuf St.Cristina Nuragic well temple was the most precise astronomical monument of the time in Europe: http://www.academia.edu/2336031/The_nuragic_well_of_Santa_Cristina_Paulilatino_Oristano_Sardinia._A_verification_of_the_astronomical_hypothesis
Is there any branch of Christianity that exclusively follows the teachings of Jesus?
What I mean by that is the Old Testament is mostly garbage that can be dismissed offhand. Also, most of the New Testament after Jesus died is garbage too (Paul is a poser who most likely never even had a vision)
I like the teachings of Jesus, but not much else. Is there a Christianity for me?
Jefferson's Bible.
Marcionism may be the thing for you.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcionism
>Marcion believed Jesus was the savior sent by God, and Paul the Apostle was his chief apostle, but he rejected the Hebrew Bible and the God of Israel. Marcionists believed that the wrathful Hebrew God was a separate and lower entity than the all-forgiving God of the New Testament. This belief was in some ways similar to Gnostic Christian theology; notably, both are dualistic, that is, they posit opposing gods, forces, or principles: one higher, spiritual, and "good", and the other lower, material, and "evil" (compare Manichaeism), in contrast to other Christian views that "evil" has no independent existence, but is a privation or lack of "good",[2] a view shared by the Jewish theologian Moses Maimonides.[3]
>>883897
This. Contains just the parts of Jesus, cuts out all of the mythological crap.
How is it even possible to be Platonist and non-dualist? Those who say mathematical objects exist and constitute another reality are clearly dualist. However, when one explains what dualism means, these people are quick to claim that they aren't dualist, but still defend Platonism.
How can one be so inconsistent?
Isn't this "dualism" stuff some meme that only people on 4chan's /his/ care about that doesn't really affect philosophy in any way?
>>883880
No.
Also, Platonism is fucking retarded.
Just as psychology majors who have low IQ tend to love buffoons like Jung instead of modern, empirical psychology, low tier philosophers and mathematicians love Platonism.
Did Rome fail the republic, or did the republic fail Rome?
I guess a bit of both. Wasn't the downfall of the WRE (and the total united empire in the first place) simply due to overextension? When the vandals, goths, huns whatever finally realized this it was game over.
How off am I? I'd love to learn more.

Only thing I know is those are some mad holy trips.

There's a number of factors in the fall. I personally lean on Dialectus and the Formation of the Tetrarchy as the catalyst for fragmentation.

This guy is still alive, he's curently residing in a doorless building at Academy City
Spoopy occult-reject tryhard. yawn
>>883681
Well, the thread's a shitpost, but have you actually gone through his records and diaries? He was hardly an occult reject, I mean dude was a Cambridge educated chemist, who declined the degree despite completing it, he's one of the better educated dudes we've had in the last 100 years of occult theory.
There's a huge repository of his material in my thread with the library.
Did Jesus believe in Adam & Eve, Abraham, Moses and the rest of the OT figures?
Well he was a Jew so I'm guessing he did.
>>883650
Moses appeared on Mt. Tabor when Jesus was transfigured. Jesus came to undo Adam's sin. Christians are the seed of Abraham.
/thread
>>883667
So Christianity depends on the existence of all three as per the OT account
Hey /his/.
I'm part of a philosophy club at my school and next week we will be meeting to discuss the topic of altruism. The professor heading the club assigned us some excerpts from Ayn Rand and Nietzsche critiquing altruism (they haven't been emailed to us yet, so I have nothing to show you guys at the moment).
I'd like to make some kind of case for altruism, if possible, and so I'd like some perspectives on the matter. It's not a philosophic issue I've ever looked into before, although I am basically already familiar with Rand and Nietzsche's views.
Is altruism possible? How? What I'd really like is if anyone could refer me to what church fathers have said on this, or even Christian or secular philosophers if they have valuable perspectives.

Look into spatial, iterated and evolutionary versions of the prisoner's dilemma
>>883447
>Nietzche and Rand in the same discussion
What a joke.
Does /his/ agree with pic related?
Has philosophy really been made obsolete by science?
Nope. If anything, science raises even more philosophical questions.
>>883392
Nope.
Science can only dig ever deeper, but the issue is, there's turtle's all the way down.
>>883392
Not even close. Nobody cares about finding aliums if dindus are surrounding your neighborhood/nation etc.
So what was the real reason the Soviet Union collapsed?
>>883350
massive prevalence of FAS.
Everyone was drunk and didn't realize what they were doing. Woke up with a hangover and eltsin and bush in bed and it was too late.
>"PFFFT KJV? That version is bullshit. Here. You're going to take home this NIV student Bible. It's the word of God."
Why is the average Christfag a tacky heretic?
These religion threads are getting out of control tbqh

>>883334
>Not reading it in the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.
It's your own fault damn it.
>>883334
Because most Christians say they're Christians without having a single clue what the bible says, or where their religion came from?
All they know is what "Muh Preacha sayd"
If Aliens came down, fucked up the worlds collective armed forces in a few days and rather than eliminating us they started ruling the planet do you think human societies would continue rebelling if the aliens actually did a better job than human governments or would nationalism and nepotism drive us to further rebellion?
Are there examples of nationalistic movements rebelling against foreigners who were doing a better job than the local strong men?

Arguable but Native Americans come to mind.
Why is there no visible image of a rat in my brain when I think of one?

Because you are the rat?

you don't see images you think images

Why do people forget God the moment they become wealthy and prosperous?
Has religion always just been a coping tool for poverty?
pride
But the Pope is incredibly wealthy.
>And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Matthew 19:24
Is it me or this cunt barely had any control over anything that happened in his life ? Could he have done something (is it the proper spelling) ?
wild guess: you're korean
>>883233
Basically, no. You have to remember that the ruling class of the Qing dynasty was of a completely different ethnic group and were thus seen as usurpers ever since the very beginning. As if the civil war in China wasnt enough to bury the Manchus further into the dustbin of history, then came along the Japanese empire who cucked the Manchus last emperor into powerlessness with every meaning of the word.
>>883242
From what I read and the movie I saw on him I barely heard about korea having any influence in his life baring the korean immigrant in the puppet state so why do you say that
