So is there any proof he didn't fuck little boys?
>>1001950
Are you talking about Muhammad?
I'm pretty sure Muhammad fucked a 9 year old girl, I don't know if he fucked any little boys though.
>>1001959
No, I'm talking about big J in the picture.

Is a person with more achievements superior to a person with less achievements?
For example. Is the big time businessman with a Phd, that is making tens of millions, superior to someone making minimum wage with a high school education?
Is the former a more worthy and better person?
No, because the very concept of universal worth is a spook.
But he is more valuable to society as a whole than the minimum wage worker
In the existentialist view? No.
Having said that I find company much more fulfilling with blue collars as opposed to middle management. One gets shit done and the other does jack shit.
A subjective question. If it were objectifyable then a discussion could be held. Proper picture though.
If you could sit down and hsvr dinner with any three dead people from history, who would you choose?
Mohammed, Jesus and Moses. Most to see if anyone but Mohammed would turn up.
That depends. What's the occasion? Easter?

Voltaire, Charlemagne, Caesar.
Just to see the ensuing shitflinging.

Alright, /his/, tell me everything you know about the Roman conquest of Greece.
The Greeks didnt stand a chance against the Romans
t. Hellenophile
Why macedonia, once being a great empire fell down to just a small state to be conquered by Roman?
>>1001362
I know literally nothing about it. Go on, tell me.

"It's over blucher, I have the high ground"
1. Everything must have a cause.
2. The fact that my idea of God
represents an infinitely perfect being
must have a cause which is infinitely
perfect.
3. I am not infinitely perfect.
Therefore, I could not have an idea
representing an infinitely perfect being if
there were no such being outside of me.
4. I have an idea of God which
represents him as an infinitely perfect
being.
5. I could not have such an idea, if there
were no infinitely perfect being
outside of me.
Therefore, an infinitely perfect being,
i.e., God, exists outside of me.
How does this make any sense again?
It just fucking werks
I don't understand why it's somehow important that someone has thought of the idea of god.
>>1000684
It doesn't at all though. And the other 2 proofs of gods existence don't really make sense either.
Have regimes, prisons, and politics always been as cruel as they were in the twentieth century, or was that century just particularly mean?
Literally nothing is new, unless it is.
>>1000565
Wtf is 'cruel' supposed to mean anyway?
20th century was particularly barbaric, but 21st century isn't exactly peaches and cream
we peaked with the world wars in terms of sheer volume; sheer numbers
Is it okay to take someone from World War 2 that's still alive and portray them as a cute anime girl without their consent?

It literally should be done to everyone ever always.
So I'm looking to get into Opera. I feel like I should start with the popular ones that I can find online then work my way up to seeing a live performance. I'd also like perhaps English Operas so I know what the hell is going on.
I've literally never seen an full-fledged opera (unless light operas/musicals like Les Miserables or The Pirates of Penzance counts. I don't feel like they do though)
Let's talk about the Opera, ladies and gentlemen.
*tips fedora*
>>1000112
Really?
>>1000098
English Operas are usually only modern, and aren't super good. I'd only suggest Opera if you life both symphonies and stage plays, because Opera is obviously a combination of both elements. That being said, if you have any composers you prefer, eg. Mozart or Puccini, or a preference for a certain stylistic-period of Western art music, eg. Romantic or Baroque, I would recommend starting with operas similar in style to music you enjoy.
Also, Italian librettos (the lyrics) are almost always better than any other language, especially German
