How smart are you /g/? Can you solve this?

Rules:
>You can only go in the order red > white > blue > red > white > blue, and so on.

Start at the red dot, pass through the red wall, and from then on you must pass through a white wall and then a blue and then a red.

Your goal is to exit through the blue wall at the top of the maze.

Submit as drawings or feel free to go "up, right, up left, down".

Well, /g/? Are you truly as smart as you say you are? Is your IQ really above 300?

This. You make a directed graph with three vertices for each location in a puzzle, one for each color representing the next color move you are required to make. Each colored wall represents a pair of edges between two of those three spaces. Compute shortest paths on the resulting directed graph and you have your route (if any).

I'm too lazy to actually implement it, but this will give you all the answers.

Can we agree on how stupid this is, battery life is bad because there is no demand? Even though dozens of industries depend on battery life???
16 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
Battery life isn't really an issue. Headphones last 4-5 hours on a single charge. Nobody uses them for longer than that continuously.

Its much like a gas tank in a car. 300-350 miles is the most convenient range for cars. There may be a few occasions where you would need to go over that range continuously, but it is rare and not worth hauling around a bunch of extra gas on a regular basis.

Should've asked that beforehand retard. Also this is not your personal tech support.
Anyway, the speakers are absolute shit. The bass overpowers the satellite speakers if you crank up the volume slightly. The satellite speakers sound like tin cans. Good job wasting your money, kid.

Connect to SSH server outside of LAN from different network area? How /g/?
16 posts and 3 images submitted.
>>
Really? You can't just google how to do it? It's stupid easy. Set up port forwarding on your router. Go to the router page in your web browser. Google the address it'll be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254 or some shit. Find your device. Set a fixed ip. Set up port forwarding from some port. Set the same port on your server's ssh settings. Don't breed.
>>
>>55004893
I did Google before asking, and also I've done all this shit but nothing works. Plus I'm talking outside of LAN, not inside.
>>
>>55004937
that's why you have to set up port forwarding you retard.

What keyboard do you use? I have a Razer Blackwidow X and it bothers me that "shift keys" don't light up. For example, the keys 1 through = light up but all the symbols under them remain dark. I don't see an option to make them light up but I still like the keyboard.

Hey /g/ I need some advice for a rig I'm trying to build for my girlfriend's dad.

Dude basically uses mastercam and streams Vietnamese dramas on his old shitty windows xp desktop he built a long ass time ago. Here are some of the questions I could use a little guidance on:

>Used Workstation?
He has a budget of 500 freedom bucks so is it even work building a custom rig or should I just tell him to buy a used workstation

>i5-6500 or Xeon 1231v3?
latest and greatest or more cores?

>Quadro GPU?
From what I've researched you only really need a "Professional" GPU for shit like photorealistic rendering? If he's not doing any of that shit and doing simple 2.5D rendering will a 750ti work just fine?

>Mastercam or alternative?
I honestly know shit all about CAD/CAMs and machinist stuff. Is this alright software or is this guy living in the stoneage? Been trying to find copies of mastercam but I believe most of them can only be used with business licenses. If any machinistfags can weigh in on this that'd be great.

>General questions
Since I really don't know a whole lot his profession I'm not really sure what I can ask him to give him the best end product. What kind of question can I ask him to narrow his needs down? I want to build the guy a pretty nice rig for his work so any help would be appreciated

Its a tad over, but this should be good.

I chose AMD simply because Mastercam doesn't utilize hyperthreaded cores very well and the AMD FX-8320 does out preform the Xeon E-5 2660.

The Firepro card is just to keep it all AMD, that can be changed to a quadro if you want, but no lower end quadros are competitively priced in the cheaper end towards the Firepros. 8gb of ram is fine enough for Mastercam. A major slowdown in mastercam is going to be read/write so I'd say just put that and the OS on the SSD, use the HDD for media/backup.

Mastercam is a very powerful CAD program, it is up there with CATIA for example.

You can get free AUTO-CAD if you have a student email, .edu address (same with MS Office). If he's looking for something close to CATIA, he could always use SOLIDWORKS or Rivet. However, AUTO-CAD is very low end compared to that of Mastercam or CATIA. Most business use SOLIDWORKS or Rivet. They are about medium strength.

If you have any buddies or something that work at say Boeing, they might be able to hook you up with CATIA pirated. Your not going to find that one easily and its about $23K for the full deal with them.

Why hasn't 4chan adopted WebP?

It's pretty much proven that Lossless WebP is superior to PNG, and Lossy WebP is superior to JPEG.
At least 70% of the internet supports it, and with FireFox slowly becoming a 1:1 match with Chromium, that figure is likely to jump.

On that subject, why doesn't 4chan support VP9 on WebM?

Why the hell isn't wireless recharging a thing?

Why can't I recharge my phone without either plugging a wire into it or putting it onto a dock?

Surely if we have the technology for getting a signal as complex as WiFi traveling through the air, we can get something as basic as electricity to, right?

Asking "Hey guys, what's your opinion on x?" is frowned upon.
Wireless is frowned upon.
Headset requests are frowned upon.
Noise isolation ≠ Noise cancellation
If you dislike a suggestion, try giving a better suggestion to whomever asked instead of going "hurr, x sucks"

Usually purchasing advice request and discussions of headphones in comparison to others or EQing. Sometimes there's talk about DACs and amps and DAC/Amps. And on the rare occasion discussion about DAPs or speakers.
