HTC vive. Have it and no regrets
>>
Right now, Vive. Oculus is revealing their touch system at E3 which might flop or absolutely rape the Vive.

Normally I am against waitfaggotry but you have to wait forever for the thing to ship anyways.

GTX 260
GTX 570 (both died on driver releases)

Mechanical lit Keyboards, the fucking LED's fail on me way too soon.

asrock motherboards, this shit has atleast 1 flaw on arrival no matter the price class for me
>>
>>54999014
Yes, actually that happened to me too, after a driver's release the fans began to stop everytime they reached 100% load

How is that a bad thing?
>>
>>54999034
Actually the drivers are bigger & more bloated now. Not that it matters, seeing as anyone who owns a GPU that still receives driver updates isn't going to fret over an extra 10-100MB of "bloat". It's really only bothersome for poorfag cucks on decade-old chinkpads.

Sup /g/

Wanted to ask, if installing Windows 7 on a fresh install, what edition of Windows should be used?
I have heard that Enterprise edition is a fine choice, and some things about it not including the Windows 10 malware and such.

Please confirm. Asking for myself and a friend.

Pic unrelated.

yes

Op here, thanks
>>
I don't know anything about Enterprise edition or whether it can ignore the Win10 shit, but if you're just gonna use Daz Loader or something you might as well just get Ultimate edition. Of course you'll be fighting against the upgrade ads if you use Windows Update.

I just do this:
-Disconnect computer from router
-Fresh install of Win7 Ultimate
-Activate with Daz
-Disable WIndows Update
-Install all updates currently available with Simplix pack (or something similar)
-Make sure Windows Update is still disabled after all this, and before you connect to the internet again
-Never update again and enjoy

If you can't even install Ubuntu just stay on windows

Download the Ubuntu ISO. Write it to a USB drive using Win32DiskImager. Restart the computer and boot from the USB. Follow the installation instructions. Since it's a laptop, you're very likely to need to select "install proprietary/third-party software and drivers" during the installation. That's it.

As far as making it work well, that's a learning process. Early on you'll be using the software center to manage your programs and such. Eventually you'll get used to working in the terminal. Then you can consider switching away from Unity, purging bloat, etc.

I switched from Win10 to Ubuntu on my laptop and it works great. I'm using it right now to reply to you.
