Pa Kent ruins Man of Steel. Well, actually, a lot of things ruin Man of Steel, but if they had just gotten Pa Kent right the whole movie would have worked. But they didn't.

Theatrical? That would not work, not at the moment. But as an adult animated show on Adult Swim (with the corresponding budget), it would succeed for at least a couple of seasons. Then they would have to cancel, or start writing a more continuous plot, or else the audiences would get tired of the repetitive formula of Gertrude failing at her goal, unless they got *really* creative and funny.

Why does /co/ always cast people by their haircuts? As if they have to have the hair naturally to be them? I've even seen people on /co/ whine and bitch about casting announcements because an actor has the wrong color hair, even though they can easily dye it - and eventually do with the movie.
