Has there been a deeper examination of the absurdity of human condition? A more incisive study of the struggles of contemporary middle class Americans living in the late 20th century?

There sure has - just drop the first two panels.
>>94271158
Li'l Abner

But without them the final panel is deprived of meaning, of greater context. It would be akin to stripping everything away from an automobile until only the engine remained
So hear me out here, Marvel Legacy is going to have some dumb "Avengers of 1,000,000 BC" story but I think they're missing out on a cosmic story that would've written itself. I don't know if they'll touch on it but this would be around the time the Celestials experimented on Earth. They've preformed these on countless worlds which is why traits like the human form is common in the universe and they always result in four sub-groups.
>Eternals: Powerful beings who can manipulate cosmic energies for various purposes
>Deviants: Those cursed to forever take a monstrous form
>Mutants: Quirky genes that change function over time
>Mutates: Changes in response to outside stimuli
Sound familiar?

I don't understand your image
Don't give Marvel ideas, they'll ruin it
The finale could have been better. I felt like the last 20 minutes were wasted too much on the cliche army vs army fight and the 10 minute villains discussing to go the evil world and stay there. I was hoping for something more creative in the last 10 minutes.
But hey the world design for the last 3 worlds were finally quality-driven. They didn't feel like the randumb shit fest like the clown world, toy world, cereal commercial world, etc.
Anyone else watched it?
I was on-and-off watching the show, but I thought the ending was satisfying overall. They really could have cut down on the army stuff by zapping everyone in at once rather than doing a sequence for each side, and things got a bit too exposition-heavy near the end.
At least Rippen and Penn both got happy endings.
>>94270987
The ending was about as shitty as the show itself - a bunch of stupid jokes, dumb motivations etc. At least they did picrelatedonly to follow it with a crappy cliche "girl punches the guy after a kiss she initiated to show that she is a "strong female character"".
I disliked the show, and I'm glad it's over
I think the edgy joker is tired and boring. I want to see the joker go back to his trickster 50s roots. Where he doesnt kill people without provacation, where he pulls elaborate and stupid pranks for money or just shits and gigles. I dont mind batman being edgy, hell i love when some of his characters act more dark, but the joker should be the source of levity in batmans rather dark and missrable carrer. Someone who actually is sick because of his trobuled past and actually wants to make people laugh with his shitposting antics. He should be one of the closest things batman has to a friend.
>>94270819
>provacation

Jesus christ that spelling mistakes so fucking minor calm down
>>94270866

Is there a /co/ character smarter than Rick?
I'm so sick of seeing this character everywhere. Why is he always angry. Why does he always have drool or slime or whatever that is dripping from his mouth. Why do you kids watch this crap.and get et off my lawn

There is one.
How come Reed is a better Doom than Doom ever was? Is Reed superior to Doom, no matter the role and the universe?
>inb4 Secret Wars
Molecule Man went to Doom because he knew he could commit Reece-Genocide. Meanwhile Ult!Reed built a Raft all by himself, something not even 616 Reed could manage.
No posts yet?
How did UltReed become a bad guy?
Someone spoonfeed me
>>94270171
>Ultimatum happens
>proposes to Sue and gets rejected
>F4 disband
>goes back home
>gets fed up
>launches a world-wide attack from the shadows
>turns out he was trying to "fix everything"
>Sue cucks him with Ben
>half his face gets burned off
>gets lost in space
>dons the Maker persona
>creates a dome where time flows differently
>creates an extremely evolved race of humans
>bombs Washington and Central Europe
And that's the gist of it. There's much more, but that's enough for now.
Can somebody tell me who the fuck this logo belongs to? It was in a pile of dc comic pins alongside a green lantern pin and an aquaman pin, among other heroes. Before you say it, no its not cyborg. Who tf is it?
>he hasn't read CogWheel
>>94269469
I'm going to apply Hanlon's razor here.
Its Cyborg. That is the logo for him DC is pushing these days.
Gizmonics Institute?
Why is mind control such a common story element in comics and cartoons?
You tell me.
>>94269016
Is it ?
its so rare to find a good example .
>>94269016
possession is a common theme throughout all literature. not just mind control.
.
Oh yah, that was a good dream

couldn't she just use a condom?
There would still be at least marginal skin-to-skin contact. She ain't gonna get laid if she has her powers.
>>94268259
Like for her whole body? So a latex gimp suit? Yeah, why didn't Rogue just use a latex gimp suit? That's the real question. Your guess is as good as mine OP, because I'm sure there's no shortage of people who'd fuck the daylights out of a saran wrapped Rogue.
>>94268321
she's down home southern gal, she isn't that kinky, and is too socially awkward to accept the suggestion of anyone who would actually float the idea to her
Fuck.. even YMS gave this a "6 or 7 out of 10" and said the Raimi trilogy was better.
Why does this movie just scream "meh..." to the audience?
After a movie about a time-manipulating, dimension travelling sorceror who fights a gigantic being with his wits and a space opera where the protags are up against an entire planet it's kinda hard to go back to a guy in a cheap-looking CGI spandex suit who runs around in the neighborhood to chase a van and "Benis Barker XDDDD" jokes.

Original Sin for the MCU
Tony Stark being more loved and other bullshit to the general audience.
There's already a thread for this, knock it off
Which is the best Pixar film?

Shockwave is alright, for me it's the Kup.

>Whose your obscure husbando, /co/?
NOS-4-A2. He's really cute andhot
>>94266489
is Shockwave really that obscure, though?
>Armond White reviewing Up.
>All this deflated cinema and Pixarism mischaracterizes what good animation can be (as in Coraline, Monster House, Chicken Little, Teacher's Pet, The Iron Giant). Up's aesthetic failure stems from its emotional letdown.
What the fuck did he mean by this?
>>94266092
When is he going to get off his ass and review the Emoji movie
>>94266092
>Chicken Little
He's based for liking Monster House though, underrated as shit
>>94266092
it wasn't directed by Zackino Snyder.
>>94265868
It was fucking awful.
Die in a fire, slowly and painfully, for bringing this shit up.
Fucking asshole. Here's hoping you get cancer, you piece of shit.
12 oz mouse...what the fuck were those idiots thinking? "Oh, the useless neets that watch AS in the middle of the night will watch any shit we put out, just shit this turd into the feed, watch then swallow it down!"
Fucking die, you cocksucker.
>>94265868
It's kino in the sense of story and ridiculous yet amazing dialogue, not the absolute best show, but its up there
