The more I think about it, the more I wonder what went wrong here. I mean, a movie about Jonah Hex, directed and written by the guys who did Cranked 2? How the hell did this movie come out to be as bad as it was? What the hell were they thinking? I mean, on paper, this movie really should've been incredible.
>megan fox
No, it really didn't.
>>80283321
It may just be because of her turn as Furiosa, but I can't help but think that Charlize Theron would've been a perfect Tallulah Black.
Its because they tried to make a "superhero" western movie, rather than a western that just happened to be based on a comic book character.
>In 2003, The WB greenlit a TV show about the Flash produced by Todd Komarnicki and modeled after SMALLVILLE. In the show, Barry Allen is a high school student from Gotham City who develops the ability to travel through time after a laboratory accident and uses his newfound abilities to correct damages done to the timestream. Allen was envisioned as an average teenager in plainclothes, while "The Flash" refers to the process of moving forward or backwards in time.
Damn, we sure as fuck dodged that bullet

There he is. There he goes again.
Who's going to win the Academy Awards?
>>80281992
whats that non-american cartoon doing there?
filling a quota?
Before this thread delves into cancer, can we just take a moment to accept that even though Inside Out will win and the Academy doesn't care about animation, there's nothing we can do about it anyway? At least Inside Out is a decent movi.e., so it's not like Minions was nominated. Let's use today's thread as an excuse to talk about the movies that are nominated, and then when tomorrow comes around there will be threads bashing the winner.
Prologue and We Can't Live without Cosmos were so fucking hype. Latter is online in HD if you haven't seen it.
>>80282588
Just like the academy itself, no one on /co/ has seen any of the nominees other than the Disney ones. There simply aren't enough shallow waifus to grab their attention.
As someone with little prior knowledge of the character outside of a few pages posted here and knowing Reynolds has had a long standing boner for him, this was a pretty solid genre-fusion superhero deconstruction. What does this mean for superhero movies going forward? On an unrelated tangent, what capeshit would you want to see Tarantino or the Coen Bros helm?
>>80280667
>the Coen Bros
Howard the Duck.
Full stop.
Considering we know for an absolute fact that Tarantino gets everything wrong about super heroes, none.
>>80280667
> genre-fusion superhero deconstruction
My mind went to all those tumbler shits that try to place a label on every possible type of sexual orientation.
What are your hopes? Your expectations?
No hopes since Snyder is in helm.
>>80279902
I expect people to enjoy it and /co/ to pretend it's the worst movie ever.
>>80279902
hoping not to be disappointed by keeping zero expectations
What does /co/ think about the CGC? Useful tool for agreeing on a grade and price of comics? Abomination to the art and readability?
My opinion is that they are a bit like packaging, useful for keeping books liquid, but if for you personal collection should probably be opened to be enjoyed, unless they are so high grade that it would make more sense to read a lesser copy or reprint.
>>80279751
Collectors are subhumans and should be ridiculed or ignored at all times.
>>80280086
Not to mention they're killing industry because muh #1 and variants.
Get it in your head, Whor won't ever be worth 500 millions.
>>80280086
Wait seriously? You hate comic book collectors??
Well?
I'll believe anything you tell me Neil Adams
>>80279140
You would expect me to believe DARKSEID built Happyland?
>>80279140
Come on anon, haven't you seen History channel. Humans are barely capable of smashing rocks together, every thing that is amazing and world changing was created by aliens. Or some monster secret society.
Thoughts on Geoff Johns Avengers
Character interactions were decent to good, but aside from Red Zone, his main storyarc, which was pretty awesome, there wasn't a whole lot I would recommend.
It's still the last time the main Avengers title was good.
>>80278824
Might have been great if it had lasted longer. Still the last time the Avengers were really the Avengers.
Shit /co/ I just remembered this show existed. God damn was that kid hard boiled
>>80277830
ohh fuck ya he was
>>80277830
There's an Asian girl with dyed hair
Why was everyone on this show a tryhard? They literally tried too much everytime.
In June, Marvel will release the first batch of "Timely Comics" which are reprints of three-issues-in-one of select ongoings at $3.00.

>>80277323

What's the best endgame for Bruce?
DCAU
Him becoming a bitter old man but making sure someone carries on his legacy (though not sure why it wouldn't be one of the 4 people he's trained to do just that)
>>80278062
This also Bruce driving away every one who cares about him is the the only endgame that makes sense
>>80276738
Bitter and alone since he treated everybody like crap and his body fails him to the point where he can't be Batman anymore
Did they ever have a shitty accent before the movie?
People don't give Marvel enough shit for those costumes
>>80274159
Of course not, everyone knows that eastern Europeans don't have an accent.
>>80274159
accents depend on how well you learn a language
>This ones for you 4chan
Holy fuck
>>80274027
what?
deadpool was terribly forgettable.
>>80274027
Did he said that, like for real?
I have a treat for you /co/
>>80273246
They do understand that the 60's Batman show was parody, right?I wish I could say the same for Nolan Bats.
>>80273246
LOL
>>80273466
>the 60's Batman show was parody
Not really. It was camp, and Batman was a lot campier back in the '60s than you'd like to think he was. Also, Batman didn't gain his reputation as the brooding Caped Crusader until well after the '60s series ended.
Why did you trick me into thinking this was good, /co/?
>Most of the movie wasted on extremely boring backstory
>Tries way too hard to be quirky and funny
>Extremely bland story and villains
>Literally only 2 major fight scenes
>Jokes are pretty much the entire point of the film and they weren't even that good most of the time
This movie could have really used more Colossus and Negasonic. They really help bring out the best in Memepool's character.
>>80273008
Well, that's just you're opinion, man.
>>80273045
This
>>80273078
Prepare for a third such ban.
