>"let's go watch a movie in the worst part of town, dear!"
>"I have a novel idea, Tom! Let's wear our finest clothes and jewelry and not hire a bodyguard for the evening!"
>"Of course! You're right, Martha! You know what? Let's take a stroll down this depressing corridor literally named Crime Alley with our ten-year-old son and say nothing to the only man who knows we were even in that theater! Surely nothing bad will come of this!"

So, because of the way they were dressed, and how they acted, they were asking for it? I like the way you think!

Writing for the sake of being progressive is bad writing
Oh boy, this thread again! I haven't seen this one for...a few hours maybe! I can't wait!
Korra Bitching General /kbg/ get in here guys!
I think writing in general is bad.

Not really
Bad writing for the sake of being progressive is bad writing
I kinda feel bad for him...
>Batman's just very very very dark, messed up character. When I put on the suit I was like ''I feel like a bloody idiot if I don't use this as a means of a kind of his true monstrous self that he allows to come out. Let's do that.''.
>Heath turned up and he just kinda... completely ruined all my plans! Because I went ''he's so much more interesting than me and what I'm doing!''
>And so I still go ''Eeeh, I don't know I think I quite managed what I hoped I would through the Trilogy. Chris did! But my own sense itself was like ''Naah, I don't think, I don't think I quite did''...
>That's enough. Enough's enough. We did our thing. It's done, you know? I've got nothing else to offer.

What do you think would've happened with and in the Trilogy if Heath didn't die?
>>80418242
Joker would've been the judge in the courtroom scene cameo in TDKR and he would steal Bale's spotlight again.
>>80418242
TDKR would have been far better.
I think Nolan lost interest after Heath's death; TDKR is very sloppy in contrast to BB and TDK.

The Simpsons always had Itchy and Scratchy. Albeit not as graphic as pic related, still violent.
They destroyed her.

There was only one. The one who created her. Bendis.

Does she still have Wonder Man in her head?
How is he relatable?
>>80409126
He made a tough choice and killed a man who would have destroyed the world, surely anybody else would do the same
For god's sake man in the movie he drinks while watching football during a visit to his mom's place
He is one of the most relatable superheroes there is because he was raised as a regular person from a modest family. Just because he has his own set of problems due to physical doesn't mean he's psychologically not relatable
He is just so perfect.
>A familiar face.
>A familiar hat more like it.

Are LOTR comics even a possibility after this old fart dies? It seems like they're the only thing DC could publish that could compete with Star Wars.
I hope not.
>>80407499
The rights will probably go to his son. So it depends on what Simon says when Chris is dead.
>>80407499
Doubt it.
Hell, everything since papa Tolkien died hasn't compared to the source material.
So I finally got around to seeing this, and it was... alright?
While the visuals and choreography were great, I think it really lacked in the story and pacing department, like things were just feeling rushed for the first hour or so of the movie, and a lot of the jokes were really hit or miss. That's not to say I didn't like it, I did, but as I'm sure it's often said, the second movie did things a lot better, in my opinion, of course.
Character wise, I don't think the Furious Five get enough screen-time once again, but I guess that's what the TV show is for? I dunno, I don't personally watch it. Kai was an alright villain, but at least Shen in 2 had a bit of buildup, where here, they just sorta throw him at you.
Music-wise, other than a few pieces, it didn't stick out to me like 2's did, and the Kung Fu Fighting bit felt lame, and that pop song or whatever that played during the credits was horribly cheesy.
What are /co/'s personal thoughts on it?
Oh, and while I wouldn't say it's as good as 2, not even close in my opinion, I think it's at least as good as the first movie.
It was alright, but it wasn't as satisfying for Po's family to suddenly have a magical epiphany, as it might have been if Po had really trained his skills up.
Easily the worst of the three, couldn't get over the fact how little of a fuck they gave to the underlying seriousness of the series. And every character was spouting something fucking stupid every two seconds. If I see this movie again in my life it'll be too soon.
>>80407586
It was even stranger that suddenly everyone, including Tigress and even Po's dad (The Goose) knew how to use Chi or whatever all of a sudden. We didn't see it like how we saw Po mastering inner peace like in the second movie, it was very spontaneous like that. Even Shifu couldn't do anything like they were doing.
>>80407624
I can't help but agree. After 2, it felt like a major step down, characters weren't given time to breath like they were in 2, and as I said, a lot of the jokes were hit or miss, most being miss. There wasn't a whole lot that stood out for me aside from the fight scenes, and it almost feels like people were so critical of 2 for being so serious that they toned it down way too much. I know Po's a goofball, but I don't think he'd really be one to play with toys anymore, let alone play with ancient and valuable weapons and artifacts, and everyone was far too forgiving of Po and his real dad doing all of that.
Welcome to Eltingville was literally /co/ and /v/ in a nutshell and I love it for that.

Don't you mean /co/ and /tg/?
Why is horror mixed in with all this nerd shit?
I like the Eltingville Club comics and that pilot, but thank god [AS] picked Venture Bros instead
