winnie the pooh's grand adventure
can't be touched, that was one fucking grand adventure
Blustery Day was the one I watched every day as a kid.
FrankenPooh, I love that shit
How would an episode of the Boondocks about black lives matter go?
>>80668988
They bring back MLK again. BLM protests
>>80668988
End of the episode, Huey acknowledges there's a problem with law enforcement's abuse of authority but at the same time recognizes that blm is based on a lie with "hands up don't shoot" and that most of their protestors are white and protesting shit just for attention
>>80669184
Why do people care if a guy never said those exact words? It's like people refuse to engage in a conversation if one fact is wrong. It's like claiming vegetarianism is dumb because Hitler was one.
>TFW can't draw so will never be an animator
Can we talk about classic animation and the art of animating?
current animators don't draw all that well or stay on model or anything so you've got a pretty good chance. Now if you wanted to be a storyboarder just give up.
>>80668425
You're better off going to /a/.
Given that /co/ has a bunch of cynics like so
>>80669231
>>80669428
Yeah, but most gook drawing is shit.
Thoughts on Skat Cat? He originated from one of Paula Abdul's music videos.
.
>>80668294
Huh... I thought he was just a joke on American Dad
Just think, there's at least one furry out there that has a shit fetish and a fursona named Scat Cat.
Hi /co/ I need some recommendations for comics with apes and monkeys in them. Can you help?
>>80668067
Art Adams' Monkeyman and O'Brien
Duncan The Wonder Dog, despite its name it follows a monkey through a large chunk.
The Humans
I never watched Gargoyles when I was younger. How much did I miss out on? Was it a decent show?
>>80667508
how about you just watch it and shut up
I think it holds up. I rewatched them all a few months ago.
>>80667508
>never watched
sad, dude
>miss out on
aside from a good growing-up inspiration, nothing you can't easily acquire by watching it now. it's not like there was a community...
well, there was, later. kinda decent online community. first a shared fanfic universe, lots of lewdness, then when greg put his series bible online, a more sort of sense of extended canon.. plus some conventions that went on until like 2010 or so. pretty cool shit. i never got into any of that
>decent show
no. rescue rangers was a decent show. this was a masterpiece. you hear me? BTAS-tier and then some.
What went wrong?
>>80666825
Furries.
>>80666825
The constant porn. That is all
Your dad forgot the condom.
Why was this allowed?
Its funny
Okay I'll bite.
Because it's a cartoon and nothing in it is real. This cartoon exists because the assumption is that the vast majority of society can see the line that separates fantasy from reality, and anyone that can't would have been a danger to themselves and others in some other way, via any given source, be it book, movie, song, etc.
If you decided to hold a baby over sharp objects because you saw it in a cartoon, you were most likely going to be persuaded into that or some other ridiculously violent and reckless act because you're clearly stupid and/or crazy.
And for those of you who weren't already hearing this in the back of your head while you read this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYuJA0oaw4s
Because it's intentionally over the top because it's a parody of violent children's cartoons from an adult movie you fuckwits.
I'll start with this one...muscles and anatomy
>>80666099
this mother fucker and pat lee i hate them soo much
you already have one liefeld thread we don't need another one
>>80666294
dude i saw 3 separate treads about MCU spidey in civil war yesterday
why didn't /co/ tell me that this show got better?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DXujrYtWcE
I know it was generally randumb shit for the first time, but i'm surprised that it actually got good
Ultimate Spider-Man thread a i guess
>>80665837
Has it? I downloaded the Spider-Verse episodes one night when I was sick, and to be honest it made me feel worse than I already was.
>>80665837
It has its fun moments but overall it is still a mediocre show and a very poor Spider-Man show.
It also lacks heart, all of these Marvel shows do, you won't even find a moment that is as good or as powerful as anything EMH did like Cap dealing with hate post skrull invasion from the things Skull Cap did, Hank's problems with the Avengers and his breakdown, the Bruce and Hulk relationship, Tony facing a villain he created, etc... etc...
Also I really hate how Thor and Hulk are portrayed as idiots in AA, especially Thor who is portrayed as a big dumb oaf who didn’t finish Asgardian high school, ugh.
Don't get me started on the Guardians...
>>80665837
Getting better doesn't mean getting good.
All of >>80667554 is true.
Alright, /co/, I've been wondering for the longest time: What is the general consensus of the Homestar Runner cartoons here?
>>80665276
its good thats why /co/ doesn't talk about it
The only good thing is Strong bad
>This summer
>This holiday season
>This Arbor Day
>some smelly French studio invites YOU to sit through a four hour film with no dialogue
>and no plot.
>A strange mercy.
>The Divine Right of Kings
>>80665192
Everyone called it, but still, Mottom is fucking SAVAGE.
PERISH
I love Mottom and I think Abaddon is doing a good job of setting her up as a witch of great power and capriciousness. I like her aging up and de-aging as a character trait, as well. Using her wand as a fork is a nice touch.
>>80665192
RIP Pryan Sor
>>80665286
>using her wand as a fork
>implying it's not a fork being used as a wand
What DID mrs. carol think of her kids?
They're all little niggers.
Shits.
>>80665170
Angelica did nothing wrong
>In superhero stories, Batman is Pluto, god of the underworld, and Superman is Apollo, god of the sky. That began to be really interesting to me — that their conflict is not just due to manipulation, but their very existence.
>Apollo, god of sky
>not sun
>implying Superman wouldn't be the Zeus allegory like on Waid's JLA
>implying Pluto and Apollo have ever had conflicts
>in just his previous movie he blatantly made Superman into alien Jesus but now he's Apollo,
This is the man that /co/ endlessly claims "gets it" and doesn't even know basic myths.
>Zack wants to be profound, but common sense won't let him
>>80665074
OP. don't be so snide. If you know what I mean.
>>80665074
>implying Pluto and Apollo have ever had conflicts
He didn't say this
>Apollo, god of sky
Yes that's exactly correct
>not sun
Apollo goes hand in hand with the sun, and he was a compassionate person. Did you really want Helios for Superman
>in just his previous movie he blatantly made Superman into alien Jesus but now he's Apollo,
He and some other Kryptonians beat the shit out of each other for a solid few days non stop, that is not Jesus
The surface level allegory of MoS is that of a flawed Jesus figure, and if you can't even pin that down you should think twice before debating mythology
ITT: Shitty artists that aren't shitty people
What about that time he picked a fight with Snyder because his DC books weren't selling?
Some people will tell you that he's a shitty person, and that you're all falling for a meme.
Well, to that, I say: You're all falling for a meme, and he's not a shitty artist.
His work looks shitty when it's colored digitally, but it looks serviceable (and even has a certain naive charm) when colored traditionally.
>>80665098
He was right though.
Snyder was acting like Snyder's sales come from Snyder's talent, but Liefeld was pointing out that Batman really sells because he's Batman, and that non-Batman characters don't sell because they aren't Batman.
