So a friend of mine writes a brief recap for all the comics he reads and sometimes I like to go through his files to keep myself up-to-date with all the shit I haven't the time to read. [Pic-related] is from his Captain America: Sam Wilson file. Is that true? Is that comic really that politicized? I found very mixed info on the internet.

Yep. One of Spencer's worst books
>>80646089
Judge for yourself
Spot on. It's got all the subtlety of a brick through your window.
Reminder that because this is the only TMNT cartoon that actually uses as much material from the comics as possible, it's the closest of the three to actually seem more like "TMNT the animated series" rather than "TMNT the thinly disguised toy commercial" or "TMNT the bad fanfic".
Fast Forward was objectively terrible though. Not even the dark turtles could save it.
>>80645853
As a Miragefag, I agree... although they did shit the bed in the later seasons with Flashforward.
>>80645853
>Reminder that because this is the only TMNT cartoon that actually uses as much material from the comics as possible
...so? Does that automatically make it the best in your limited scope?
Still doesn't change the fact it had shit dialogue, voice acting and music. Animation was nothing special either.
When is Marvel going to reboot?
How can we get rid of MCU Spider-Man?
>>80645755
Why? It's a nice costume.
There are so many Spidermans and Hulks, it's like one long rolling reboot.
After civil war underperforms
Miss me yet?
Not really, that show turned the pandering up to 11.
man, i forgot shaggy became a ghostbuster
>>80645640
Having a diverse cast can work as long as it's not brought attention to. Sure the group was a black guy, a mexican, a goth chick, & a cripple, but they never brought attention to any of it in a bad way.
Garet made fun of himself constantly, & it's even suggested he dies in the bad future due to being a dick. That or he never became famous. Hilarious either way.
>falls from a great height
>"my legs! I can't feel my legs!"
>Nevermind
The dialogue was pretty spot on in that regard. They played with a few of the character tropes.
Seriously, this shit is fucked up. If you found this scene funny, you're probably a psychopath.
muh constitution
muh slapstick
im using the word muh but im being serious
It was neither funny nor was it fucked up. It was tired and stale and predictable. Seriously how many times has Peter soap-boxed childish complaints against childhood pop culture memories?
>>80645227
I probably should have said "why are people okay with this"
This is just unfunny and mean-spirited.
With people praising the new Spidey suit, why did people hate this one when they're virtually identical minus the eyes?
>>80645146
I thought the suit was one of the better things about that film.
>>80645146

So Legends is dead huh ?;_;
Let's talk web animation.
Anyone recognize this photo? Well it's Matt Wilson's profile pic. That guy who did Bonus Stage. Dunno why it's of a girl, but I don't care.
Didn't know this guy was still doin stuff till a few days ago, and man has he not really improved all that much at all.
Dude really needs a voice cast.
anyway, what was the last flash you've seen? any good?
Any guys you follow?
>>80644639
I remember Bonus Stage. I used to think it was the funniest shit, but upon revisiting it, I found it too be largely average with bits of with sprinkled about.
As for the profile, maybe he got a sex change.
>>80644639
I can't watch his Cartoon Drive-Thru stuff without wanting to turn off the video.
>>80644752
So you can't watch it at all.
I decided to give this show a chance since /co/ is always talking about how its the pinnacle of the DCAU or some shit and i have one question
What in the name of fuck are they doing here? Like, the heroes are here, the threats are reasonable (most of the time), yet for some reason they are constantly "nerfing" characters here and there for the sake of plot, the amount of times the whole League gets their asses kicked by any mid level enemy is pathetic, the balancing makes no sense, sometimes one of them is the reliable, competent and strong one who the rest sucks, sometimes its the other, i mean, for fucks sake, Aquaman getting almost killed by a rocket launcher? Superman getting his ass handed by a few lasers? How is this considered okay? Please tell me they manage to get this right later, because so far watching this has been really cringey and lame
>>80644617
The producers massively depowered pretty much everyone but Amazo, because Batman was their favorite and they didn't want him to look useless.
>>80644617
DCAU has everyone at fairly reasonable power levels that follow cartoon common sense and drama logic. None of them are even CLOSE to being as powerful as they are in the comics. Even the super-intellects like Bats are downplayed compared to their comic counterparts.
>>80644791
>DCAU Batman
>downplayed
As jokes go, I've heard worse.
Wait so how is Sony doing a Venom movie separate from Spider-Man/MCU? Was it allowed by Marvel?

And does anybody believe this rumor?

>>80644504
By default you are not supposed to believe moviepilot
>>80644495
Preplanned production prior the the spiderman rights being released. By rights they still have spider man rights but there was an agreement deal in process after the failure of the most recent spider man movie.
Venom was still under contract when production went into process. Therefore, they have venom still.
>yfw
We've known about this for so long and you fags kept hyping it up I honestly felt nothing.
I thought it was a Star Destroyer from the thumbnail.
>>80643896
ditto. what is it atually?
>Angry Birds
>only one bird is angry
Sasuga, Hollywood
The merchandise for this franchise is already everywhere even though nobody plays the game anymore.
Just how bad is it gonna get when the movie comes out?
Redpill the movie
>>80644093
>mfw I saw the trailer and all I could think about was this image
Probably the best thing that'll come out of this shit movie.
My cousin works for DC and saw an early screening of it. He said there's a scene where someone shoots a gun and they actually use a bullet time effect, like from The Matrix.
He also said there's a lot of product placement. One scene even takes place in a Target.
>>80643599
If this is true, it's probably for when Batman's dad gets shot, there's a slomo gun part in one of the trailers
>>80643613
>If this is true, it's probably for when Batman's dad gets shot
>mfw I thought you meant Batman's dad gets shot at a Target
>>80643599
Is Über good?Does have good Rule 34?
>>80643261
its really good i love it
It's pretty shit.
Had some potential but turned into boring edginess and WW2 wank fairly quickly.
It's essentially nothing but pages of nazis slaughtering people easily, occasionaly broken up by the allies failing to do anything meaningful.
>>80643716
arent you tired of seeing allies win everybattle?
>Killed the greatest chef in the universe on the hobo planet and took his magic formula to make food taste good
>Turns out his magic formula is just water and L.S.D. mixed together
>Side plot is Zoidberg feels guilty for framing fry on breaking the Professor's ship in a bottle
This episode fucking sucked. I don't think I laughed once. Like the only part I minorly enjoyed throughout the entire episode was the "robo" joke.
>>80642481
Yeah, you're a faggot.
>>80642481
it had its flaws, but it also had some great jokes
>AIAN KUKURU
>THAT SWORD COST FIVE THOUSAND DARU
>i will only accept the lesser title of zinc saucier, which i just made up. also it comes with double prize money
>yes, ordinary water. laced with only a few drops of LSD
>subverting the classic magic feather trope
>every word out of zoidberg's mouth as he writhes in self-imposed guilt, especially when fry later can't afford something
>soylent green as the secret ingredient
face it, the worst of futurama is collectively post-cancellation futurama. they had to hire cutrate writers to be able to afford the actors' huge salaries.
>>80642570
How about you avoid the whole series? Go watch Family Guy or some shit.
