Can we all agree that Summer is a best companion for Rick than Morty?
Summer can't handle that shit bruh.
She was freaking when Rick's ship was protecting her and that kinda shit happens to Rick and Morty all the time. Bitch can't hang.
Not to mention in Get Schwifty she was quick to think that the heads were some all knowing gods and not some alien mutha fuckas sent down to earth to fuck shit up. Now how is some scaredy ass religious bitch gonna hang with the baddest mother fucker in the galaxy?
Just a reminder that Summer ends up getting stuck in the past with amnesia and becomes Beth's mom.

You're forgetting what Morty was like originally.
o so I've got a fairly "normie" friend who does a fair amount of drugs (ie. weed, booze, psychedelics, and such). How do I get him into Adult Swim? His favorite shows are The Office (US), Nathan For You, Futurama, Family Guy, and South Park. He's seen a bit of Rick and Morty and The Boondocks before and I think he liked the former, but didn't really "get" the latter. Also, I think he's seen a bit of Bob's Burgers and like that a decent amount.

Stick an Off The Air bump while he's on psychadelics
Aqua Teen

I don't know about your friend, but [as] just said there's a prank coming on after Bob's Burgers. I wouldn't trust them, but it's still something to be alert about.
What did you think of the Damian resurrection storyline?
>>81346848
I wish Tim kept the costume. I'm fine with the wings.
was it lazarus pit and why does alfred look like he just got transported from the 90s?
Maybe too early but Damian would have been forgotten otherwise.

I mean, to me they seem like a borderline case, since their faces are animated, but they are technically "alive" already and filmed with regular cameras...do they count?
also, if so, THUMBS! thread

That movie was the inspiration for this filename for me. To this day, I don't think anyone has gotten the reference.

heheheheheheh
Definitely more /co/ than those fucking capeshit live action threads
Why did a lot of Super Heroes back in the days get their powers by Radioactive waste?
Nuclear weapons and by extension all things radioactive were the tightest shit that people could imagine back in the day. People absolutely loved nuclear everything. The bikini was designed specifically because of the Hydrogen Bomb tests at Bikini Atoll.
>>81345117
Because back in the day all anyone could ever think about was how atom bombs could wipe them out at any moment.
>>81345117
How many actually got it from radioactive WASTE besides Daredevil?
Jessica Jones and the TMNT don't count because it was the same damn truck that got Matt.
Why do people get so mad about Harley being an anti-hero now?
She's just the female Deadpool but not as bad since she hasn't be invited to the Justice League and absolved by Superman
>>81345071
I like it.

Stop making this thread, Jeff.

Anyone else disappointed that they pussied out on actually showing Frank's family being gunned down?
I felt that for Punisher's character, we really needed to see how horrible it was.
>edgy series wasn't edgy enough
Sure Rick, sure.
>>81345094
Nice buzzwords gayboy
Showing Frank's family getting killed would have pushed his moral conviction forward a little too much in a series where Frank is supposed to be morally wrong and Daredevil CAN SAVE EVERYONE.
They do everything they need to with Frank for the character they're establishing him as, imo
The name you get is the name of Disney's next princess

its an ad, everything Leto does is an ad

Nothing? It's April Fools day
http://www.dccomics.com/blog/2016/04/01/hitting-the-streets-scott-snyder-and-john-romita-jr-unite-for-all-star-batman
>What it came down to was that I realized I wanted to do a series called All-Star Batman that would invite all-star artists to work on some of the best characters in the world and kind of reinvent them within continuity for the Batman mythos. So I pitched him on a crazy Two-Face story
>The story takes them on the road. That’s one of the fun things that I pitched John on. If we do this story, how about we do it in a way we haven’t really seen before in Batman? I wanted to do a sort of grindhouse Death Race, Fugitive, Running Man, Defiant Ones, out-of-control story. Batman is completely out of his element, desperate to get Two-Face somewhere upstate, and just about every assassin in the DCU is hunting them at the same time. It’s really, really fun.
>We work really closely. We actually just had a Bat summit yesterday. We’re going to do some mini-Bat events down the line and we’re all going to co-plot them. We’re very entwined with each other in terms of the stories and the Bat mythos.
>But I really feel like the books each have a very different flavor. What Tom King is able to do in Batman now that it’s double shipping is a really fast-paced and muscular classic Batman. He’s in Gotham, fighting villains and protecting the city. What I’m doing on this is very different. I get to use all of the classic villains redone in a new way largely outside of Gotham. What James Tynion is doing [in Detective Comics] is dealing with all of the young characters training under Batman and Batwoman. It really is very tailored for all your different tastes. There’s a Bat book for everybody right now.

>he's planning on "reinventing" a bunch of characters.
Goddammit Snyder. That worked out so great with Mr Freeze and Joker.
>>81343225
Didn't he also say that this was going to feature an older Batman? I think he said it was going to be his The Dark Knight Returns.
Shit batsuit right there.
ITT: We name this young man.

Try again.
what was 'fun' about the Dark Knight trilogy?
Meme magic
It was fun to watch, Randolph.
It was a constant thrill ride of interesting characters with a fantastic ongoing narrative and some really awesome action scenes. It also contains plenty of dark humor, double conversations and sarcastic one-liners. Literally every time Alfred and Lucius are on screen, it's probably another sarcastic line and you practically never knew what Joker was going to do next whether he'd make you laugh or freak you out.
On top of that, the directing was phenomenal (outside of TDKR) and brought Batman to life on the big screen in a way not seen since Batman Returns while having a based as fuck cast.Fun does not mean "jokes a second" you dumbfuck
IT'S FUCKING NOTHING Edition
Except something might still happen because they're playing the bump still.

Do you guys remember if there has ever been a portrayal of the Joker quite like what Leto describes?
All that stuff about anarchy and crap, mostly. But even the visuals just seem...off.
>inb4 Duane Capizzi's who was the same old guy we know cosplaying as Blanka
I really hate those news stories about how CURAZY he is. They're just really try-hard

Elaborate dragon tattoo on the back is not the same as prison tats everywhere and a fucking grill.
Flawless movie/comic/cartoon scenes. Post 'em.

Every time I see this scene I'm reminded of this image.
As much as I dislike the movie, that scene and the casting were great
