Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown, Cassandra Cain and Clayface will be on a team lead by Batman and Batwoman.
Detective Comics will revert to its old numbering.

What do you think of Lex Luthor?
Can be an interesting character.
Superman as a character is most interesting when he's challenged mentally or morally (as opposed to strictly physically) and Lex is often the best villain to exploit that.
The character kind of flip-flops between being an ubermensch who wants to lift & guide humanity, but is ruined by his hubris & obsessive jealousy of superman and an egomaniacal sociopath who only cares about amassing power to satisfy his pretensions of grandeur.

DINGDINGDINGDINGDING
He's great. If he were real and were running for president, I'd vote for him immediately.
Opinions on Ang Lee's Hulk?
Best Banner
Best Betty
Best Thunderbolt
Best Gamma Dogs
Best emotional climax
Best Hulk movie
I liked it more than The Incredible Hulk, but that's not saying much. It's basically a 5-6/10 for me.
He looked like Shrek, fought mutant dogs, had comic panel shots, and his dad was absorbing man. You do the math

What would the critical reception of this movie be if it was released in 2016
>>81395709
100%
audiences would assume it was a parody of superhero movies
Critics would hate it, audiences would love it, /co/ and /tv/ would spend weeks trying to squeeze as many memes as possible out of it.
>>81395709
>99% on rotten tomatoes
>8/10 average rating
>Critical Consensus: A joyful ride by one of films best directors.
Decided to make a video of all of Creepy Susie's scenes from the Oblongs.

BALD
You forgot the hopscotch joke.
Why are you idiots so obsessed with this character?
Is this the only superhero franchise where the main character doesn't kill anybody?
>spidey didn't kill anyone
Watch em' again

Who does he kill?

not on purpose
What does the word "comfy" mean? And why does /co/ like it so much?
Just kind of low key with maybe some humor. Nothing with a lot of action or suspense. King of the Hill is pretty comfy, for example.
>>81392265
>What does the word "comfy" mean?
All padding, no plot.
>>81392265
How braindead do you have to be, OP, to not grasp the notion of "comforting"?
>In JUSTICE LEAGUE, Batman and Wonder Woman travel to Atlantis in a Bat-submarine to recruit Aquaman, but he refuses to help them, due to both his disdain for the surface world and to a centuries-long conflict between Atlantis and Themyscira.
>Furthermore, the standalone BATMAN movie written, starring and possibly directed by Ben Affleck is being fast-tracked for a summer 2018 release date, and might come out even before the standalone AQUAMAN movie set for July 27, 2018.

Ok? None of this info is surprising or even really interesting.

SNYYDEEEEEERRR!!!

>Implying anything helmed by Snyder would ever use a term as campy as Bat-Submarine
Is Daredevil Marvel's best character? I don't necessarily mean in terms of personality, powers, or popularity, I'm thinking purely from a quality of comics/stories involving him. So I'm perfectly fine saying Spidey, Cap, basically the entirety of the Avengers and X-men are better than him, but I don't think they have better stories and runs.
I can't think of anybody better, especially Frank Miller's stuff, but I'm asking this because I'd love to discover even better Marvel stuff out there.
I think Claremont's X-men stuff is probably the second best I've read, and then either Brubaker on Cap or just the classic Spidey stories. But nothing touched DD in my opinion.
I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but I'd say Thunderbolts is Marvel's best, longest running book.
That was a lot of words to ask "which heroes have the best overall story quality historically?"
Daredevil is definitely up there at or near the top. From what I've heard, Swamp Thing is also like that, but I haven't read him yet. Personally, I'd put any Peter David X-factor work there (so a shit ton of X-factor).
>>81391018
hey thanks! That's similar to what I'm asking, I guess I'm asking who's the best Marvel character in terms of actual story quality.
>>81391106
you're right, I tend to be too wordy on forums unfortunately. But thanks, I'll check out X-factor!
So I'm trying to break into Daredevil (yes it's because of Netflix), and everyone says to start with Frank Miller's early run.
Okay, cool, but the Frank Miller run is HUGE and the omnibus reprint coming out pretty soon is $80.
I've also heard that the Bendis run and it's successors are excellent ways to dive into the comic, and I find being able to split my spending to be much more attractive. That said, I also know that if I miss this omnibus it will become harder to find later on.
So /co/, should I splurge and pick up the omnibus or start off with Bendis' run first?
It depends
Do you want to read one of the defining works of the Superhero form.
Or you do you want to read a pretty good follow up to that.
If you live in a decent sized community, try your local library.
