So kids aren't a big fan this grimdark phase DC heroes are going through? Do you think they'd enjoy a movie more bright, friendly, heroic, and optimistic, sort of like Batnan: the Brave and the Bold or All-Star Superman?

This was such a great show. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It's a shame that it didn't catch major popularity and ended up being cancelled early. What went wrong with this show?
Show was actually perfect. Fucking Hub shitcanning it
It was an animated sitcom aimed at adults that got trapped on a network full of very young-skewing toy cartoons. It could have been a huge hit on FOX or Adult Swim.
Elise's job was awful. Her secret spy ninja shit was completely out of place and just a drag.
I don't know much about Steve Ditko but was it true that his Rayndian views made him an asshole?
>>81455759
Yes, asshollery and objectivism tend to go by hand.
Rayndian views make everyone an asshole.
Yes. Even back at the dawn of the Marvel Age, Ditko was a recluse and a piss-ant. Part of Marvel's early success was the direct contact Stan Lee set up between fans and the talent through the Merry Marvel Marching Society, and public appearances (before comic cons were a thing) Every body played along. Kirby, Romita, Ayers, Buckler, they all went with it. Ditko would straight up climb out of a window in order to avoid having to deal with people.
He was asburgers to the max, and a Randroid.
ITT: age you got into comics and what got you started.

I seriously don't get why people like this show so much, I mean granted style looks awesome, but not only it's mean spirited as hell, which I really hate, but most of the time it just resolves on one joke, life is not a TV show or Movie, that's it, it just feels unpleasant
It's the most creative show on cartoon network right now.
It's nice to see a cartoon that utilizes the medium of animation like gumball does.

this does not make up for bad writing
>>81453871
That's really more of an opinion now isn't it?
Anyway, from what I've seen of gumball, it's better written than WBB or TGG.
She just improves with age.

"He's my friend."
"So was I."
Was he really though? Did Cap and Iron Man ever interact enough for Tony to say something like that? They openly antagonized each other for almost the entire first Avengers movie and then they clashed again over trying to end a war before it starts in Age of Ultron. Not to mention, "language." I think Tony says the friend line to Steve because in our minds Captain America and Iron Man should be friends, but they haven't gotten nearly that close in the movies.
I doubt it's going to mean nearly as much on screen to see a barely established friendship get fractured.
>>81471833
I guess the beginning of Age of Ultron sort of implies that the Avengers had been working together for a while taking down Hydra bases around the world. While they don't really get along while they're on screen, it was implied that they had been spending more time together that we didn't see.
>>81471833
That's the thing, it's only Stark that thinks they're super good friends.
Tony has very few friends and because of his huge ego he thinks everyone likes him. There was an interview with RDJ where he says that Tony is jealous of Bucky and Sam because Cap clearly cares more about them and he feels ignored.
>>81471901
> Downey says, but he also admits: there’s some jealousy there. “I look at him like, ‘Oh, you and Falcon got a good thing going on, huh?’ He doesn’t really seem to give me the time of day.”
>And later, when Cap chooses his friend Bucky Barnes, a brainwashed assassin, over Tony … that’s the last straw.
What's stopping an animal that loses its mind, or a simple accident around Little Rodentia from killing literally hundreds of mice? Do they have a contingency for that kind of stuff?

Where practically everyone is powered in some way.
1 - Gain an ability.
powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Random
2 - Gain a Rival to fight
http://villains.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Random
or
http://hero.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Random
3 - Choose a faction
The Paradigm - The Global Society of Heroes (Main HQ in New York City)
The Congregation - The Global Society of Villains (Main HQ in Los Angeles)
No Faction - You're on your own.
You can band together with other Super-humans if need be. Power Plays are allowed.
If a previous character is being used, the previous screen name is recommended for consistency.
If you gain a power held by someone else in the thread, then you must try again for a new ability.
And Lastly - Characters can be killed or even revived under the right conditions. But they CANNOT be removed from existence unless the power gives permission.

Seriously both had really solid issues and great designs. Can we make this a Magpie/Mime or any obscure villain that really needs to show up more thread.
