I'd say we have a chance at Kraven if Spiderman gets a series of movies. Possibly even Mysterio in a team-up situation, since his abilities could really make things interesting if backed up by something else.
It's not impossible we'd get Shocker...as the guy Spiderman beats up in the first five minutes to set the scene of the movie.

I don't know where I stand on it myself. On one hand I'm glad they didn't do the uncle Ben thing AGAIN, but on the other hand I'm worried this may be becoming too much of a movie series "for comic fans".
Like, when Wondy showed up in BvS, the non-comic people I was with just thought she was weird and out-of-the-blue, since it's been so long since Wonder Woman has had mainstream media. For a lot of people who never saw the old Spider-Man movies or read the comics, Spidey probably has the same feel.

Holland was fun, Spidey was spot on with his fighting style and banter, and he left a positive impression, but let's be perfectly honest, he was completely irrelevant and extraneous and cutting him would've lost nothing.

So let's entertain a thought. Turn the clock back. What would Age of Ultron have been like under the directing of the Russos instead?

How big is having a linear-progressing narrative, continuity and character development in an animated series?
I feel like Bojack gets hailed as way greater than it really is just because it incorporates these story-telling devices at a time when they're rare to come by. In other words, because it's conceptually ambitious rather than polished & well executed.
Bojack lacks the kind of consummate professionalism as say a Futurama, but nobody hails that show as being 'spectacular'.

It's just an adoptation of a regular TV series season format into animation. Nothing huge. It's just that, traditionally, most animated shows have always been aimed at syndication globally. So anyone can just drop in and watch it at any time and feel they haven't missed any major developments.
Bojack just adopts a more traditional storytelling format over aiming for syndication. South Park has aimed for it over the past few seasons by introducing overarching narratives across seasons. It's relatively new in American animation even though Japan has had it for decades now (And even then they used "Filler episodes" on the bigger shows to give a starting point for new viewers in syndication)
