good art + bad story > bad art + good story

>Unpopular opinion
literally everyone who saw the secret of kells agrees with you
>>82546486
kells wasn't a bad story, it just barely had a story
>>82546446
Nah
Bad art + Good story is better. I'd rather read a book than stare at art.
What are the best Spidey-runs? I really love early USM and I've been thinking about rereading Strazynski, haven't read it for years - does it hold up?
What are everyones favourite Spidey-storylines? Mine is probably the six arms saga.
Also, what's been happening in the Spider-comics since Superior?
>>82546429
>does it hold up
In my opinion, yes.
I recommend the original by Lee and Ditko/Romita if old doesn't bother you, anything by Roger Stern or J.M. DeMatteis. Anything Spider-Man related by Zeb Wells and Spider-Man: Fever
>What are everyones favourite Spidey-storylines?
Nothing Can Stop The Juggernaut is my personal favourite.
Can't answer the last question because I stopped caring around Spider-Island.
>>82546429
it's been pretty meh after Superior, there was Spider-verse and then some filler before Secret wars. Now he's fighting Zodiac and juggling that with managing Parker Industries
have a bump bc I need some recommended runs too
>>82546429
I think Gerry Conway's run can get delightfully dilly like the Doc Ock/Aunt May Marrage and ghost hammer head but over all its a really solid and mature run. Specifically the original clone saga (143-151) was very suspenseful and significant with the plot juxtaposeing very well with the romantic (sub) plot.
I also love most of J.M.Demathis's run, Tom Defalco's run and JMS's stuff is mostly good I think.
So how wide an area does a green lantern sector cover
>>82546381
Divide the total volume of the universe by 3600, boom, done.
>>82546675
Did that ever made sense. How is a single GL supposed to watch over tens of thousands galaxies?
>>82546847
It's not like the universe is that big.
So I'm going to start this off by saying the only marvel films I've actually seen are cap 1, iron man 1-2, thor 2, and guardians of the galexy. So I went and saw Civil War, and the whole film seemed like it was nothing more than an excuse to smash action figures together for a scene. And they kept doing that shitty quick cut shaky cam so you can't see shit during the action sequences. Are all marvel movies just this Bullshit of quick cuts and no plot? Rami spider man had better action and it came out a decade ago
>>82546302
are you still mad because I said Maquire sucked in the other thread?
>>82546382
Nah I thought spiderman was fine. Although it was Bullshit they didn't give cap the chance to sway him because Spider man believed the same things as cap. I just thought the whole fucking movie was just an excuse for the fight in the airfield and the fight in the bunker
>>82546302
>I've actually seen are cap 1, iron man 1-2, thor 2, and guardians of the galexy
thats the problem
It's so fucking weird to watch a somewhat older (or very much older) cartoon movie in 2D and suddenly you have a detailed 3D sweeping shot of a place on the series.
I can think of times early Simpsons and early Family Guy did it, but was it common for other shows almost always in 2D?

forgot about that, real neat
>>82545784
they made a The Shining:TAS?
Let's talk MCU movie costumes, /co/.
So after the complete lack of a purple mask for Zemo in CW, I realised that while the MCU is pretty good about getting their heroes in comic accurate costumes... the bad guys are all kinda crummy costume wise.
I mean, Batroc has a kind of similar shirt. Crossbone in CW just had a bit of white paint on his mask and his chest. Is Loki the only MCU villain who actually had a costume who looks like his comic version?
red skull? although he was just wearing a nazi uniform.
Yellowjacket
>>82545439
Red Skull wasn't even a nazi. He was a gi joe tier badguy corp scientist.
He only wears an actual SS uniform at the very start and from then on they try and distance him from Hitler.
Who would you feel if she ended up in the MCU and who would you choose for her actress?
>>82544785
I'd literally slit my wrists.
>hair outside costume
triggered
>>82544785
Who looks like they could be Tom Holland's sister?
What's your onion on the Multiversity?

Did your parents name you after a /co/ character?
Pic related, my parents named me David since they really liked David the Gnome around the time it was airing.
My dad is autistic so he named me Thomas.
>>82544567
>naming some poor kid after some old kiddieshit cartoon character
How about you slap their shit, OP?I kid. Good to know that they didn't name you something like Optimus or Bumblebee
Yeah, they named me Heathcliff
Why doesn't he just snap the Green Arrow's neck?
>>82544435
Because he uses dark magic and GA has Felicity who turned out to be the source of light magic that can stop him. Not even joking, that was last episodes plot.
>>82544435
Why would Dum Dum Duggan be fighting Green Arrow?
Because he's an idiot.
>this is the guy who ran a secret organization for probably hundreds of years
So is she like the closest thing we have for a live action version ofRaven?
I too hope Magneto shows up and wrecks the Avengers
>>82544357
No, Jean Grey.
>>82544357
Why is she so pale.
mmffph TphThank You
>seth macfarlane thinks people will find this funny
He doesn't even write this shit.
Seth reads lines and cashes checks. I think he's outright admitted that at one point he wanted to walk away from FG, but kept it going as a favor to all his friends who depend on the show for a paycheck.
If you want someone to hate, hate the proles who keep FG so profitable.

Is that cum or a visual gag to look like cum?
