>Make Mine Marvel!
Wow. What an awesome phrase. It encompasses everything I love about comic books and geekdom. It's like a salute of undying loyalty to The House of Ideas, and a celebration of their awesome characters. No other phrase so succinctly captures what it is to be a proud fanboy.
/co/, next time you go to your FLCS, remember to say "Make Mine Marvel!"

You're stupid.
How would /co/ write a bisexual character without people thinking they are one way or the other?
>just make them say it
Too easy, plus people will accuse you of pandering.
>>87536389
Have them fuck and or date people of both sexes.
There you go.
>>87536389
There's a scene where he/she gets fucked in the ass while eating pussy.
>>87536389
You can't. Because people will always insist they are either straight or gay, no in betweens. Even LGBT community in fandoms will deny characters being a part of them e.g. character can't be bi if they are currently in a straight relationship.
Superman is a loser!
Fuck off, Cho!
WONDER WOMAN IS A WHORE
>>87536298
Oh, a good old fashioned Superman hate thread, eh? We haven't had one of those in awhile.
So I'm watching through Justice League TaS and I'm starting to want to read some comics about J'onn J'onzz. What's a good place to start? Am I pretty much stuck to reading JLA because he's the Justice Legue's overpowered secretary, and stuck in the Watch Tower? I Realized I don't know much about comics Martian Manhunter.

If you want to catch up with him in the new 52 read his DCYOU run, is short but is a good read

Fuck off Goyer, nobody likes you.
I'm looking for al the cartoons that have a scene where they hit the club. So far all I can think of is: Batman Beyond, Teen Titans and if you could count Spongebob's jellyfish party
>>87535995
I'd like to subscribe to your blog
pretty sure Justice League had one or two
>>87535995
I love that Spongebob episode, that's all my contribute to the thread
member the magic voyage?
Is weird seeing it now as an adult when you know how much of an asshole Colombus was.
>>87535664
is that captain hook without his mustache?
>>87535687
I imagine it's weird for a lot of reasons.
Why isn't /co/ reading Heavy Metal now? Since Grant Morrison took over they got rid of ALL the adds and replaced them with more stories, so that's at least another 20 pages of stories. All you Morrison fags will love it cause he goes full Morrison wank in his stories each issue, usually having 2 a book. As always with an anthology book the stories are hit or miss, but with so many more pages to work with and the big name he brings there are sure to be stories for everyone now.
Call me when Ennis is on it.
Metal Hurlant is better.
Morrison sucks

I like Shulkie, but TitaniaXCreel is one of the most adorable relationships in fiction. Not to mention one of the most enduring.
Batman, I've come to bargain.

"You can fuck my daughter, Barbara, after you rape the Joker. She's 100% virgin, I promise"
>>87535102
OK Jim, let's bargain then. I'll do it. But on one condition. Your psychopathic serial killer of a son gets it too.
He needs to know what it's like to be weak. To have your will taken away from you. There's only one way to show this to a man like Joker, Bruce. Who better to do it than the Batman? Do it for Jason. Do it for Barbara. Damn it Bruce, do it for me. Rape the Joker.
Fuck marry kill thread

Name ONE (1) cartoon character who's cuter than Dot Warner. Just one, that's all it takes.Protip: you can't
>>87534341
The vest majority of them, but I'll add Misery if you want a specific example.
Why do you think she's cute? She's just... a weird ambiguous animal thing with a young girl's voice. Even among Warner Brothers, let alone furry /co/ characters, there are far cuter characters.
>>87534385
literally who
Dot? Anything cuter than Dot?
Well, since we're setting the bar so low...
Looking back at this anniversary art by Alan Davis makes me sad. I have realized that today, only six years later, every character on this pic has either been ruined by shitty writing and "reinvention", is dead or is forgotten. The forgotten ones (such as Molly) are the lucky ones.
The only exceptions are Black Widow (who has been a one-note character since long before this art was made) and Storm (who somehow manages to hold on at the X-Men side). What scares me is that Marvel keeps talking so much about diversity and positive role models and yet they have treated their classic female heroes like dirt, and only give a shit about their ALL-NEW ALL-DIFFERENT female characters.
>>87534350
>>87534215
Crawl back out of Fantasy-Land, you nutjob.
"They treat their classic female characters like dirt"
Wake up, Spider-Man hasn't been resting on a fluffy cloud of sunshine for all these years. And he's just one example.
Classic Marvel men suffer the same.
"They only care about their All-New-All-Different women."
Like who exactly?
Carol? She's been around for longer than I've been alive.
Jean Grey? Same thing.
Jane Foster? I'm pretty damned sure she wasn't created yesterday.
So what the hell are you talking about?
Can I read the best parts of New52 Superman and not get fucked over by continuity? I've been reading Rebirth Superman and so far I really enjoy it, but I want more.
I've heard that the best parts are
>Morrison Action Comics
>Greg Pak Action Comics
>Scott Snyder Superman Unchained
>Geoff Johns Superman Men of tomorrow
So can I read these and still get the story in a satisfactory manner?
Superman Unchained is pretty self-contained, you can read that by itself.
Likewise Morrison's Action Comics. I totally recommend reading those 19 issues. If you are in the USA, your local library might have the trades, that's how I read mine, but I've since bought the digital issues for myself and re-read these.
Pak's Action does get into cross-over and he does pick up on threads from other writers so you might find it confusing to read.
I wouldn't waste my time with Johns Men of Tomorrow. It's a typical 'let's drop this in here, and it CHANGED EVERYTHING, but then it doesn't so by the last issue, everything is back to status quo.' The bad guy isn't really particularly interesting and it's telegraphed a mile way. I found the hard cover, still shrink-wrapped, about 2-3 months after it came out, for $10 at my local comic shop and bought it and promptly donated it to one of my local branches. It's nothing I'd want to re-read plus the art work made my eyes bleed.
>>87533925
Man I hear such disparate opinions on Men of Tomorrow. Most seem to agree it wasn't JRJR's best work however.
I miss that suit
I miss superbro

Damn, didn't think Tommy would touch on that sort of crap
God dammit Tom
I met Tom at the weekend, he is really nice and signed some books for me and we had a chat.
He seems to be doing pretty well and im happy for him
>Doctor Strange is the one individual who deals with all things arcane and mystical.
> His film introduced the Time Gem, instead on the Soul Gem.
No, no, Time STONE. This is the movie universe, anon.
...I'm expecting these "Infinity Stones" to be so much less powerful than the actual Infinity Gems. I'm lowering my expectations, and I still think I'm going to be disappointed.
>>87533621
All knows that Soul Gem is inside Captain America brain.
>>87534867
They are small and precious though. Therefore, they are gems.
