>If you ever wondered what a baby mountain ogre (what Uaid is made out of) looked like in the wild, you can see some scuttling around their mama's back in the middle panel.
Man Duane really hates communism
Any recommendations for good Batman comics that feature Scarecrow preferably as the main baddie?
>>90178375
Go watch the Batman animated series episodes with him as the villain
>>90178375
Scarecrow Year One and his brief shenanigans during Knightfall? Thats all I got
>>90178375
there's Batman/Scarecrow: Year One
not sure how good it is though
Anyone else hate this show? Its literally the Simpsons for kids
>>90178288
Nice bait.
>>90178288
It feels like someone took FOP, made the characters louder and into animals, took away most of the funny, and ran it through the modern CalArts character generator.
>>90178288
I hate the family episodes.
I'm fucking tired of seeing the dysfunctional, yet happy family. I can watch Bob's Burgers or American Dad for that.
ITT : toons and comics that /co/ can agree are shit
I disagree.
>>90178153
Uh, no.
Why do you hate it, pray tell?
>>90178153

Yeah, becauseCreedposted it on a Thursday.
Didn't even realize the last one died
We talk about fusion a bit on here, but who are some characters you'd like to see separated?
I think having 2 Rogues (Maybe older and younger sister?) with one who has greatre control of her powers and has also permanently absorbed flying brick from another character; and as such is a pretty confident and flirtatious lady and a powerhouse to match, and a second one who just absorbs whatever she touches and doesn't have any cool permanent powers, and as such is a loner Goth would be a pretty cool way to work out the characterizations.
>>90178015
We've done this already and we know where it leads.
>>90178213
wasn't the other one dead?
>>90178271
yeah, but having X character brought into the timeline as Y personality difference isnt good writing.
Would it have preferrable to "Superman Returns" and "Man of Steel", /co/?
>In 2002, the infamous SUPERMAN LIVES project was languishing in development hell long after the departures of Tim Burton and Nicolas Cage, kept on life support by producer Jon Peters, who had become attached to the proposed portrayal of Superman as a conflicted social outcast. This scenario changed when Sam Raimi's SPIDER-MAN became a global phenomenon and galvanized Warner Bros Pictures to invest more aggresively in their superhero properties.
>J.J. Abrams, at the time only known as the writer of the the box office hit ARMAGGEDON and as the creator of the the succesful television series FELICITY, was approached by WB to pitch a new version of the project, shedding all the baggage that came beforehand. Abrams's envisioned a trilogy of movies, drawing inspiration from Peter Jackson's LORD OF THE RINGS as well as the MATRIX series, a very appealing prospect to WB despite Peters' objections.
>Abrams's script, titled SUPERMAN: FLYBY, featured Clark Kent as the long-lost prince of the faraway planet Krypton, ravaged by civil war between Clark's benevolent father, Jor-El, and his malevolent brother, General Kata-Zor. Clark is prophetized to one day free Krypton from Kata-Zor's tyranny, and is sent to live with Jonathan and Martha Kent on Earth until he is ready to embrace his destiny.
>Clark develops superpowers under Earth's yellow Sun and decides to use them to protect the world as Superman, developing a relationship with his old friend and co-worker Lois Lane and coming into conflict with Lex Luthor, a CIA agent investigating alien activity on Earth. Kata-Zor eventually learns of Clark's whereabouts and sends his son Ty-Zor to kill him.
>Aided by Luthor, Ty-Zor lures Superman into a trap and fatally exposes him to Kryptonite, but an encounter with the spirit of Jor-El gives Clark the necessary strength to return to life. He then rallies the world's governments to fight Ty-Zor and his army, who have decided to subjugate Earth, and in the process Luthor is exposed as a Kryptonian spy. Superman emerges victorious and returns to Krypton to face Kata-Zor and avenge Jor-El's death.
>Abrams' script was well-received by WB, and McG, fresh off of the box office hit CHARLIE'S ANGELS, was attached to direct the movie, but soon had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with the sequel, CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE. Abrams' script was also deemed too expensive, requiring a budget of over $200 million. While he wrote a second draft, WB approached Wolfgang Petersen, known for another recent box office hit, THE PERFECT STORM, to replace McG.
>Petersen instead became interested in BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN, a crossover pitched to WB by Andrew Kevin Walker, the scribe of SE7EN, and written by Akiva Goldsman, who had previously worked on BATMAN FOREVER and BATMAN & ROBIN. In the script, Bruce Wayne becomes Batman once again years after abandoning the mantle when his wife Elizabeth Miller is murdered by the Joker. Realizing Batman no longer cares to preserve innocent lives caught in the crossfire, Superman is forced to intervene, but Batman is willing to put down his old friend if he stands on the way of his revenge, unaware the conflict was engineered by Lex Luthor to manipulate the two heroes into killing each other.
>Petersen approached Jude Law and Colin Farrell to play the lead roles of Superman and Batman, respectively, but Law declined, while Farrell entered negotiations. Josh Hartnett and Christian Bale were also approached before the project was scrapped due to conflicts between producers Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Alan Horn.
>Bonaventura was a vocal supporter of the BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN project, while Horn favored reinventing the characters in separated franchises before a crossover, through SUPERMAN: FLYBY and the long-gestating BATMAN: YEAR ONE project written and directed by Darren Aronofsky. Bonaventura went directly to the WB brass to voice his disagreements with Horn's management, and resigned shortly afterwards. BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN died with his departure, and Abrams submitted a new draft of SUPERMAN: FLYBY.
He's gonna be in the Nightwing film, right?

Is crystal a dyke now?
what went wrong?
Women in comics now have to be either gay, ugly, fat or all three.
It's 2017 man, and Tumblr is the new cash cow audience to pander to. Get used to it.
I guess so
>>90176965
I like her new look except for the hair. I mean, her hair is Crystal's iconic visual element. It's her bat-ears, her golden lasso. That black thing is also not a big fucking scrunchy either. It's part of her hair.
Is Marvel finally becoming Great Again?

Did they fire Bendis?
>>90176767
The issue isn't necessarily politics and commentary, it's how badly they've been doing it.
So I've been thinking....
What is the most "basic bitch" taste in terms of /co/ shit?
The Simpsons
Family Guy
South Park
You don't get more basic bitch than moviefags. Stupid motherfuckers still get into company wars, for fuck's sake.
Marvel and DC
