C) Not only is she a child genius but she's also the smartest person on Earth right now

So pretty much she's privileged as shit by being naturally the most intelligent person in the room all because she's an Inhuman and she put in no work but is also meant to be a role model for young black girls, meaning she's a pretty garbage role model

Her appearances in other books weren't bad either.

It's the way Marvel tried to market her ("LOOK! She's the smartest person who's ever lived!") that turned people off.

Making Frank's war the result of an extremely far-fetched fictional medical condition was a terrible move and effectively kneecaps any attempt at exploring the character in the future.

In the past, The Punisher has been interpreted as everything from a Batman-esque antihero borne of tragedy to a hate-fueled murder machine only questionably better than the creeps he's killing, but only on Netflix would they ask the question, why does Frank Castle do what he does? And respond with:

If he could return to his roots as a take-no-bullshit champion of the underprivileged (that is- through a mainstream medium that people will actually pay attention to, like movies), I think he'd still probably be on equal footing with Batman, even Spider-man in terms of general popularity. The "All-American 50's Moralfag Boyscout" Supes that normies are familiar thanks to Christopher Reeves and his predecessors with just doesn't resonate the same way with everyone, especially thanks to writers like Frank Miller who depict him as an Americuck chump in the few entry-level books an average joe might actually read.

While I'd argue that every iteration of his character has their merits, the OG Superman was objectively timeless. He's not outdated, just poorly handled by influential content creators.
