Was it all a metaphor of the afterlife?
No, it was all metaphor for anxiety or something.
Which is kinda breaking down because when you are lost in the woods and stalked by a supernatural beast, and has a small kid to care for, Wirt was behaving perfectly reasonable.

It's an allegory for Dante's Inferno
>>92857240
literally dante's inferno. the layers match up to the episodes of the sane number. for example, the ring for witches and heretics matches the lorna episode. The one of gluttons matches the tavern episode where while food and plates are plentiful, you never see anyone eat. and the beast is just the devil, like a near pefrect devil representation.
It's OK, /co/! If every cartoon were perfect...
>>92857199
Then we wouldn't have anything to cry about.
>>92857199
We wouldn't have 4chan!
Probably.
I don't know.
Eh, don't count on that AU.
we wouldn't have Jake "fucking Blossom's super awesome" Goldman
what are comics that make you smile? I cant read conan without a big shit eatin' grin from ear to ear.
Protagonists who enjoy themselves are too rare.
>>92857454
Agree? Disagree?
>>92857021
Yes, and I'm glad he's now the official voice of Shaggy.
>>92857021
he still voices Shaggy since hes perfect
>>92857021
Don't you mean Melvin Doo?
Captain America has a mission for Deadpool; and when you idol says jump, you don't ask how high...
For those keeping track at home, this issue occurs before Secret Empire #0.
Why would that matter, though?
Is this good?
What the hell do you think?
>>92856918
yes?
Was it Atheism?
>>92856665
Objectism.
Honestly though, morals are relative.
What's the difference between objectism and libertarianism?
>>92856900
Ones a moral code and the others political?
How Dark will the Nefcy take us anons?
First for Manna
>>92784420
wtf I love moon now
who would've thought the edgy theories everyone bashed in s1 for being too deep for this show are finally coming true
>>92784539
I'm in the boat of people who saw Nefcy's art before they saw her show, and I can say I am not surprised in the least.
Why does she have devil horns on her head?
she's horny
>>92856183
To see if your paying attention.
Because she IS the force of evil
Can we just have a thread for those who've seen the movie to discuss it instead of shitposting about the review score and politics and shit?
I thought it was good. Great action (besides the overuse of slowmo at some parts), mostly good acting, and a decent enough story.Ares was a disappointment and everything about him from his speech to his fight felt like something out of a CW show like Supergirl or Flash.Kind of bummed because of nothing connecting to Justice League but that might be for the best.
>>92856158
>Can we just have a thread for those who've seen the movie to discuss it instead of shitposting about the review score and politics and shit?
No.
>>92856158
>Can we just have a thread for those who've seen the movie to discuss it instead of shitposting about the review score and politics and shit?
Where do you think we are; /co/ prior to 2008?
I thought Ares was okay. It was kind of neat that he did Injustice style attacks with the flying weapons.
I actually really liked what they did with Poison even though she was a small part. They got her in her classic outfit for a scene and it was neat that she developed things that didn't just outright murder you but did unusual things like her earliest stories.Steve... ;_;
So what does /co/ think of Bojack Horseman? I've almost finished the first season and have really enjoyed it so far. Also Princess Carolyn is strangely attractive
>>92856087
>yes, Anons are usually attractive to waifus that aren't human and have tits and she has both
/co/ is still in the "if its popular then it's bad" mindset but man do we go apeshit every time a new season comes out.
We love it.
It has its ups and downs. In fact, the more miserable bojack is, the better the show gets.
Well homeworld was a disappointment. I was expecting to see a glimpse of the planet from space maybe even some screen time showing different landscapes as well as an overview of a city, looking at all the buildings and things going on at street level just so we can get a better idea of how gem society and culture is really like. I was expecting to learn more about gems tech and culture like:
What are their buildings made of?
Do they have hospitals?
Are training schools a thing?
Do they have cars and roads like we do?
Are there recreational facilities?
Just how advanced does everything look?
Are graveyards a thing?
NOPE didn't learn any of that or more. Instead all we saw was a black court room they didnt even bother adding some background scenery to, a big ass building shaped like white diamond, a big ass kindergarden and whatever this scene is supposed to be. Didn't learn jack about what gem society looks like. After leaving home for good now because we'll probably never see it again, the only thing we'll EVER know about gem society is that half of them hate rose, the other half is willing to defect in a heartbeat, they hate freaks, they dont like fusion and diamonds are to be worshiped like gods thats it.
Also forgot to mention how could Lars even breath on homeworld when chances are the planet is void of water and vegetation?
I wish "Homeworld" gets a real name than just calling it Homeworld. Any good name ideas?
>>92855632
since its gems, would probably have the word "Krystal" mix with something
Would Kirby be formidable in the DC universe or just another street level hero?
>>92855024
Absurdly powerful cosmic character.
>>92855024
Fucking insanely strong.
It's pretty pointless if his power is limited to copying demonbeasts.
The underground railroad
>>92855011
Thanks for the recap Twitter. Sally Floyd would be proud.
>>92855032
And just like every issues of Sam Wilson, we start with Sam recapping everything for 2 pages even though we already had an actual recap page.
