Walt Simonson?
Anyone watching this? So far its pretty good. Thoughts? Opinions? Favorite girl?
I watched it around January and loved it but the youtube channel with the subtitles only had half the episodes. Did you watch the whole thing subbed? I'd really like to finish it.
>>95105357
Anons subbed all of it a while ago:

HNNNNNG
Because you made this thread
Who the fuck is that?
Post your shelves or recent purchases.
I just bought Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus Volume 3 from IST on Tuesday, and it's going to get here on Wednesday.
>>95337382
>>95337382
I'm waiting on two omnis (Morrison Dp, and New Teen Titans) from IST, and have been since the first. They have been "in transit" from a city about an hour away for the last two days. I believe "in transit" is usps code for "sitting on the dock", or "we fucking lost it."
>>95337531
I'm surprised my omni isn't getting here until Wednesday. I'd assume it'd get here earlier.

blame the current month. people say january is a dumping ground but summer past the blockbusters is a drought.
What does /co/ think of this show so far? Also yesterday's new episode is on the Nick app if anyone wants to rip it.

I can't tell if I like Piper or if it is stolkhom syndrom
/co/ already hates this because it's Canadian, so I'll root for it.
This is a pretty good cartoon. We need more action cartoons and this is an okay start.
Just wondering what good/great comics there are featuring Barda, that are still in print?
Great taste anon but being on the Big Barda Bandwagon is pure hell, read some MM or anything with a heavy focus on New Genesis if you want your Barda fix
Action Comics #592-593
>>95105129
>New Genesis
Any recommendations in particular?
What did /co/ think of Supergod?
>>95104889
Hilariously bad.

Shit was cash.
Where did you guys stay while there? I tagged along with a friend and his family back in high school and we stayed in the BoardWalk Inn. Fucking gorgeous. I wanna go back...
Are there any threads that are more shill-infested than Disney parks threads? It's all about spending money on Disney...

Damn, I was a lucky kid, not having to pay for this myself. Thanks parents...
assuming you mean the orlando parks. i've only ever stayed on the all star resorts and off-site. i've always wanted to try the boardwalk though, looks fantastic.
Despite Will Eisner's influence on comic books, how come The Spirit has been lost to time
bump
Offhand, I'd say it's because the only way to get all of Eisner's work is by buying the 27 hardcovers from DC, most of which retail at stupid prices unless you manage to get them at a good discount. Then of course you'll probably start at the early work, which encapsulates that lovey euphemism "of its time".
There was Ebony White, of course (Eisner made him less of a dipshit later on, but hooooo boy did he have a long way to go) and there was a story where Ellen Dolan got punched in the face a bunch of times, because that's what was considered funny back in 1940.
On a narrative level, it's still pretty good by Golden Age standards, but the early work can be a shock to the system
If they'd put out some decent sized collections that stay in print instead of this ridiculous format maybe would consider buying into it.
>Control Freak attempts to prove his point about classic superhero cartoons by sending the Titans to a former version of Teen Titans Go!.
So that's why Cartoon Network hasn't show us anything about the "Labor Day" special
Why is this show so pathetic?
It's so pathetic that
A) They need ads for it every commercial break
B) There's a constant countdown timer on screen
C) They have the VAs shouting "LABOR DAY" every hour or so during whatever they're airing.
This is exactly why the show makes fun of you people.
Calling it now. It's just going to be B&W rubberhose Titans.
