New 52 was shit but if done right could have been an amazing way to reintroduce the lore and universe of DC while trimming the fat retcons. How do you think it should have been done? I will start
>Have the superman comic come out first that reintroduces him as the first super hero but also explains how he got his powers in a concise way
>Create The Flash and the speed force but don't actually introduce it right away, hint to it and built up to it for years but once it's revealed it actually has an effect on the DC universe as a type of speed barrier that only Flashes can break
>Have the Guardians of the universe be hinted to and be a thing before any earthling JL is introduced
>Get rid of stupid bullshit like the "negative speed force"
>Don't use Barry or Hal again since these are legacy heroes we can use new heroes to prop up

TV has a more stable revenue stream than film. Movie studios rely on blockbusters for most of their revenue, but TV networks get subscriber fees from cable companies as well as advertising. This means networks don't have to score home runs to stay in business, they can have moderately popular shows with steady audiences and still get enough revenue to stay on the air. This allows for more experimentation because the risk of failure is not as great.
