Yikes! Somebody doesn't know how to cook
After 13 years of marriage, this is how we celebrate. Follow our cooking adventure for advice on how to survive the best and worst of it.
I was at work all day and the Mrs brought the kids to the beach. I decided on a menu and told her to photograph the process. Shall we start on the risotto?
She can't eat onions (dont ask) - so we substitute leeks.
Grats on 13 years
My gf and I love to cook together too. It's fun. What's the menu?
has anyone had the chicken parm sandwich at Burger King?
I'd rather go hungry
I had one to try it out. It was like there was almost no sauce on it and that made it both dry and with not much flavor. The two cheeses really didn't have much flavor to add either and the chicken was over cooked and dry. Overall, a waste of my money. I do understand though that it was most likely just my experience from my local BK which doesn't seem to do anything properly ever.

I did. It was actually very good 8/10. I've been impressed with some of their recent releases.
I consume a lot of chocolate milk. Maybe a gallon a day. Is it cheaper / tastier / healthier to buy a full gallon of remade chocolate milk or buy white milk and add syrup? Also chocolate milk general
>>9262292
Premade will sometimes have starches added to thicken it, and it might have more sugar in it than what it would have if you made it yourself. Premade might seem tastier in small amounts because it's thicker and sweeter but making your own will probably be cheaper and healthier.

But bacon, sausage AND egg sandwiches... winner.
This takes way too long.

What tea do you drink anon!
Anything that you like to do with your tea?
I prefer adding milk to majority of my teas.
Lemon and ginger tea is also GOAT for me.
Let all the tea come forth.
add to milk tea: little bit of cinnamon powder, cardamom powder, bit of sugar and a little bit of ground black pepper
>>9259421
Op here
I would like to try the cardamom powder since I havent tried that before in my tea.
I also like to dice apples or pears and place them in a decent amount of fruit based non milk teas when I cant afford to get a hold of milk teas.

I like chamomile tea, super underrated.
How often do you splurge on "luxury ingredients"?
>>9257628
like good canned tuna and capers i guess
fine cheeses really
Not very, I'm tighter than a dolphins arse.

>How often do you splurge on "luxury ingredients"?
I just shop per my whim and mood. I don't do seafood usually, so I honestly can't think of anything that is a true luxury. Overpriced cheese, or little jars of this or that, but mostly I just buy what I want to eat or make.
What's the best kept secret in the food industry?
Well, if I told you, it wouldn't be a secret now would it?

Probably the coca-cola recipe. Thing is locked away in a massive vault. I guess for awhile the offered tours of the vault but yeah look at that fucking door. When the bombs drop we can be safe in knowing we can rebuild society with the authentic coca-cola recipe.

What was the sickest that you have ever gotten from food? Food Poisoning, Allergies, full on random butt squirts all apply.
Last year I ended up in the hospital due to dehydration from not being able to keep food down after eating a pizza. The pizza in question was actually this really nice thicc crust my friend whipped up. Of the 4 people that had some I was the only one that got sick and it was almost immediately after consuming two slices. Literally barfed all over my friends bathroom. Roommate took me home. I continued to dry heave though the night. Spend the next 24 hours barfing any time I tried to eat something. Roommate finally forced me to go to the hospital where they pumped me full of fluids and gave me a charcoal cleanse. It was a 10/10 experience.
some chick i worked with at long john silvers invited me over for dinner cause she liked me.
her mom made meatloaf... i think she might have cooked it in the microwave. anyway... i got sick as a dog from eating that. food poisoning sucks.

I can't describe it but at Hannaford's there's a BBQ place where you can fill a box with general tso's chicken, mozerella sticks, wings, etc. I had a pound of that, a few glaze donuts, half a bottle of canadian club whiskey, and a few puffs from a dab pen.
Puked all of it into a trashcan and walked a mile back home. Best finals night ever.
I spent about a month unable to keep anything down whatsoever. A glass of water would come straight back. I spent several weeks on intravenous nutrition as my Crohn's was diagnosed.
Thing is even after the flare passed and I could physically eat normally again, I was so scared of food from trained reflex that I usually couldn't keep food down anyway. Bad time to be living alone. I remember trying to go food shopping and passing out in the fresh aisle from the smells.
What is the best thing to get at Burger King?
