I'm sick as fuck, bought chicken noodle soup and goldfish. What do you guys eat when you're sick?
When I'm hungover I get chicken nuggets, a burger, and fries from McDonald's. The nuggets are the key element, I always feel better.
Nothing. Juice actually. I hope you get well soon though.

pretty much your meal OP. i do enjoy losing 8 lbs whenever i get sick though.
What kind of food is good and bad for acne?
I had a few pimples but ate pizza burgers fried chips and basically a lot of junk food, also to say I was a vegetarian for nearly two years but my brother convinced me to
>>9260940
There isn't enough evidence either way. Go get tested for food allergies if you think certain foods are inflaming your acne.
>>9260978
How I do this?
>>9260994
>when your dad is outside your room doing something and you just want to try your new hot sauce on your mcnuggets but you don't want him to come in your room and yell at you for having food in your room
Another thread died for this.
>>9260926

what are the essential pans and pots I must have?
I like to cook and I would like to be able to prepare a decent variety of food
thank you very much my friends
>>9260587
12' stainless steel pan, 10' nonstick, small and large saucepots
>>9260603
fuck off teflon-jew.
12 in carbon steel
12 inch ss
1 dutch oven
1 saucepan
>>9260603
This but throw out the stainless steel pan for a cast iron one.
I also disavow nonsticks because my cast iron is my nonstick and you can fight me.
Also you're gonna want a good baking dish, large with high walls.
Is there any way to save these hash browns? I think I fucked up
>>9260567
Deglaze your potatoes, it will get all the black bits off of them. I recommend kool-aid for your cooking liquid
>>9260567
No now get out and dont be a retard. If you want them extra crispy just cook longer at lower heat.
>>9260567
Ctrl-S
I see you fucked up though, you need to rotate the image 180 degrees and you should be golden.
Hi there anon, I know you just started that sear, opened your oven, whatever lovely thing you're doing.
Mind if I decide to start shrieking and decide to ignore the alarm silence button?
>having a fire alarm
Pussy. I bet you clean out your dryer lint too
>>9260367
desu I took mine down.
I was sick of this fucking thing going off constantly.
That's for pussies.
I caused a 1200€ fire alert by baking pizza in my office in a mini oven once. All employees had to leave the building and i somehow managed to hide the oven in time before the fire department arrived.
never mess with smoke detectors
Anyone spice up recipes with random shit you normally wouldn't think of? Please share. I like to cut up pepperoni sticks and add them to pasta sauce. I also like adding cinnamon to meat dishes and baking, even though that's not too random.
I'm white. One time I added salt to my boneless skinless chicken breast. Hoo boy my mouth was on fire that night but man was it an experience.
One time I added mayo to my boxed macaroni and cheese. All my muddle class suburbia friends said I was crazy.

A chef
>mind = blown
Food
You can get pretty far with just a stainless steel 4 qt. pot.
Techniques:
>blanching
>steaming (very thin layer of water)
>deep frying
>searing (do it in batches)
>sauce-making (hot roux, cold liquid)
>boiling
>braising (with metal handle and lid)
Foods:
>steamed rice
>beans
>chili
>soup
>curry
>pasta (boil pasta, drain, set aside, make roux/sauce, add pasta back, OR add cup of water to your sauce, add dry pasta, and let it reduce)
>pot roast
>steamed vegetables
>sloppy joes
>fried food (keep it simple; don't overcrowd)
Do you rinse your canned tuna or just squeeze the fish water out?
I prefer to rinse also. This current sandwich I'm eating I forgot and just squeezed the fishwater out. Tastes like fish. Do not like.

What's the weirdest recipe you've ever had that actually worked?
>>9259917
My dad once managed to combine two days of leftovers.
Which contained pasta with red sauce and some potato dish with beef and broccoli.
Then he added more pasta, cherry jam and even managed to find a wine that went along with it.
It was a taste that was on the edge of being interesting, tasty and foul.
It made one scratch his head but not stop eating.
It was an experience.
>>9259917
there's nothing weird about duck with orange you damn flyover
I'm white. One time I added salt to my boneless skinless chicken breast. Hoo boy my mouth was on fire that night but man was it an experience.
