With more millennials turning to socialism, do you think capitalism will still be sustainable in 30 years?
>>1259209
Uh , that is not the reason capitalism is about to be in trouble anon.
With our without socialism the wealth inequality is a thing
Then automation....
>>1259209
It makes me pissed off that they think they are entitled to hard working peoples money.
They get their shitty degree in marketing, womens studies, education etc expecting to get paid above 40k a year, find out that either there isnt enought jobs to go around or there is no pay then decide to take hardworking engineers, miners, business owners etc money.
Some of them understand that what they are interested in makes no money or they aren't good at math so they start this socialism fad in high school because they are so fucking scared of competition.
I say we decrease social welfare, let the rich get richer because they earned it.
>>1259262
How many of the rich people actually earned it though? The self-made man is something that capitalism allows but I'm guessing that it's mostly not the norm. Dig a little deeper and you'll find that they came from a family of means or their daddy gave them 1 million to invest. That's the kind of shit that people don't like.
Let's get one of these

You could start busking on the street

No, get a job.
Could a household income of $90,000 support six kids?
What house could we afford?
In the UK, 90k could easily support the family however there are so many variables:
> what standard of life do you want?
> where do you want to live?
> do you intend to save or invest?
> does every child need their own room?
Etc.
Depends on where you are. In a cheap part of the USA, it could be done. But in major cities, not a chance
Oldest of 6 here, short answer yes. Dad bought a 3 floor building in Chicago, my childhood was fixing it and maintaining it. Motivated me and helped me understand where money came from, felt like I earned my bedroom when he bought the next house.
How do you deal with envy of all the rich kids out there living it up with millions while you struggle a life desperately trying to get as rich as them? While they have it easy?
Being overcome with envy is weak minded. Get off social media and focus on yourself.
>>1258482
im in better shape than them. id trade my muscle/fitness for millions but at least it helps me deal cuz they never had the pressure put on them to harden themselves to life.
at least i have something they will never have i guess. still, they could easily just buy steroids a pro trainer, a home gym and hire olympic strength coaches and personal chefs and shit and overcome me.
>>1258482
I don't have to deal with them? I just focus on being better than I was yesterday and setting short term goals for myself that will hopefully help me obtain long term goals of wealth and success. Try not to focus on other people too much, there's always going to be someone with more money, bigger muscles, richer parents, faster cars, etc.
FIVE DOLLAR LISK is coming. Who else is team blue lambo? Pretty much guaranteed right now. The DAO is a catastrophe and ethereal holders are going to panic. Hedging in Bitcoin is stupid, it is dead tech. LISK is literally the ONLY viable competitor.

The fuck do any of us care? Literally cannot buy any even if I wanted to. Post back the day before exchanges open or something
Three days till Lisk comes out.
Please stop these threads where you just type out statements of imagination and delusion. Nobody in the crypto community cares about Lisk.
What are some simple services I could provide with a compact tractor? I live in a small metropolitan area with a lot of suburbs. What services could I provide with my tractor that are one or two man jobs? Also would it be worth it to make a website or should I just lost to craigslist or put up a sign in my yard, I live on a somewhat busy street with high visibility. Also, I want to keep this an all cash business. Any tips? I also have a bush hog. Tractor is a deere 650 with a 3pt hitch. No bucket currently.
I was thinking:
Bush hogging
Large mowing jobs
Grading and mulch spreading
Fence installation
I'm very open to investing in new attachments. I will be purchasing a box blade and auger soon.
I'm also interested to hear of any people that paid for these services recently and what you liked or didn't like about the contractor. Was the price fair? If so how much?
I guess everyones too busy trading cryptos or penny stocks and arent interested in real forms of labor?

Depending on where you live:
In Germany fire wood is a pretty good gig.
A friend had an old Deutz tractor and I had an old Nissan so we teamed up, bought us a big, used trailer and a woodsplitter.
We mostly deliver to old people and offered them to store the wood in the place of their choice.
Therefore we are a little bit pricier, but they enjoy someone doing this for them.
We often get a cup of coffee and a piece of cake or even a meal.
You just need wooded land and a good stihl chainsaw to start. It takes a little but you can easily do it in any spare time.
Otherwise rent some land and look into high intensity farming.
Can be pretty good too.
I have a few products I'm trying to pedal online(herbal personal care remedies) . How do I sling some goods other than on ebay and ? I'm setting up a webpage to link to an ebay store but need to reach potential customers? Advice?

Why limit yourself to web? People who fall for those alternate medicine memes are elders who dont do much shopping online. Make flyers or something and make sure they get to old folks and local herbalist shops

Wait don't young buyers want to limit the amount of chemicals they put on their bodies? Do you know that deodorant has aluminum init and it's very bad for you? Oh well maybe I could sell on consignment like you say.

If there's any justice, he will. No guarantee of justice in the USA though.
To give you all some background, I work in the family business with my father as the second in command of sorts.
We work in the finance industry (a niche area) and our business has been based online for the last 3 years (with the exception of a home office).
I am currently 25 and had previously went to a sandstone university a few years ago which was a disaster in which I absolutely self sabotaged myself/my degree largely due to a 3 year period of severe depression/anxiety which led to 0 motivation( not going to class/turning up to exams etc etc, all the good stuff). I never finished that degree and have no intention of going back to it .
My father wants me to complete a degree nonetheless for appearance reasons, however I'm wondering for someone in my situation would it be necessary? and if so, which course would benefit a small business owner.
I am debating over choosing between applying for either a Finance major, Accounting or Economics. An outside bet would be Law ( on the slight chance that we might decide to create a practice someday, which probably won't happen)
It seems to be that the emphasis on getting into a specific course at a good uni and getting the degree etc is that it will lead to an excellent job. However in my case that doesn't really fit, I essentially already get paid 120 k AUD a year from my share of the business profits. Would it be worth starting one of the uni courses part time ?
>>1257741
The fuck? Don't bother, degrees aren't worth the paper they're printed on. Don't get one, unless your daddy makes you do it anyway.
In that case, just get whatever degree you'll enjoy the most, or otherwise is easiest.
OP do not listen to >>1257750
There is a time and a place for everything, and a degree is no exception. That poster does not see the value in an education.
>>1257741
What universities are in your area? What are their offered degree programs relevant to your business?
It cannot hurt to use the degree programme to network and gain future employees or contacts whilst learning new skills and boosting the prestige of your company with credentials.
>>1257750
High chances this guy is some NEET on autismbux trolling.
I know this sounds a bit ridiculous but
>Continue working at convenience store while creating YouTube videos (have been moderately successful)
>get enough aura to be able to quit shitty store and pursue YouTube short term while working on music
>work on my screenwriting and bank from there while still pursing YouTube and music
All while investing excess funds

Affiliate marketing. Social media has made it the easiest shit ever especially with software like hootsuite. I spend a week writing articles and building a site with a premium WP theme and then I just spread it. Each site renders me about 150 a day.
Still living at parents so the cash is entirely liquid atm. Debating moving to Toronto in July and then come winter LA or Miami.
