So... some people ... like John McAfee and others say BTC will rise to the moon by 2020... or at least rise even more.
This poses one question, how will BTC be accepted by the majority of the people, when a small minority already has all the coin.
If half of the coins are in the hands of some random chinese miners and some are in the hands of some tech savvy kids who happend to join the hype train early enough...
How will the coin "BTC" have real value when nobody of the rest of the world will be able to "afford" it anymore.
In my eyes... governments will simply work together and create a "semi" official crypto-currency that will then be exchanged with the FIAT on a certain fixed day for a fixed rate and then ... BTC will be worth "fuck all".
Opinions?

Why can't people accept that neither Segwit or UASF are the way to solve the scaling problems and the only true way to save Bitcoin is to promote better infrastructure and run more nodes. If even 1/2 of all users ran nodes we would be fine.

I have 50k in cash in my bank, USD. But I don't know what to do with it. I don't want to fuck around with shitcoins, I already used some of the money for that.
Would putting a lot of it in bitcoin be a good or bad idea for long-term? Like buy 10k-20k worth of BTC and just sit on it? Or would this be too risky?
Or maybe just wait for a mega-crash like a few years back before I do?

My dad's a state attorney and my mom works for a large financial bank. They told me yesterday that I need to pull my funds out of crypto by the end of the year. State & Federal regulations are in the works to make buying/selling crypto harder to do in the United States.
1. Banks will no longer allow users to buy crypto from known exchanges or allow deposits/transfers into your account from known exchanges starting January 1st.
2. Banks can close your account if they find out you bought or deposited money from crypto exchanges.

The thing is to predict those rises while the coins have not reached an ATH. It's not easy, let alone doable with 100% accuracy, but kinda possible. The trick is to look at the recent change in volume and trade history, as well as buy and sell walls.
