I am looking for a contacts database that would be accessible both from computer and mobile phone. It should allow me to have a variables (location, company) that would be searchable and sortable. Do you have any suggestions?

Sounds like you are looking for a CRM (Customer Relation Management) subscription. Except you would only be using a couple of it's features.
I use a CRM subscription for my business (insightly to be precise) and it manages my contacts, their emails ect...
Do some research on if this is what you are looking for. Luckily for a small business it's very cheap or even free for 1 user.

yeah, that's the thing. CRMs just have way too many features. I am looking for something that will solely manage contacts, not a crapload of other stuff.
