I'm a full-time student at a (non specific) top-100 university, in a physics and math program. Age 20, male. Always managed high honours and numerous extracurriculars, volunteering, athletics, etc.. all that gay shit
During university, however, I worked anywhere from 2-5 part-time to full-time jobs, to both pay my tuition and better my financial life.
2.5 years ago, my net worth was -3.000$ (due to personal debt, and my family breaking apart).
As of today, my liquid cash savings are roughly 31,200$. I also have some physical emergency cash, and an amount of heirloom/scrap gold, silver, and gems. By the end of this fall semester, my net worth should be over 40,000$.
The problem is, my GPA has suffered. It looks like I'll graduate somewhere between a 3.1-3.5.
After this semester, I'm taking a break from school to either go into the army, or work full time, before transferring to another university (or just following through with this one).
I want to ask /biz/ how can I further accelerate my earning potential and net savings during this time. I have higher math skills than your average investor, but zero experience.
1) What high-paying jobs require few skills and training?
2) What are some secure investment strategies for a noob?

Never go into something solely for the money, you will get burnt out and after a certain point it hardly matters anymore. A person making 70k a year is going to have almost the same lifestyle as someone making 80k. If you make enough to live comfortably and save up and do smart shit with your finances, you can even end up having more money than somebody with a higher paying job.
