Google translate on PC has the little drawing function that works great, but then I have to use Rikai to get a decent definition, which is no problem on PC where you can copy and paste, but tablets are complete ass at anything useful.

I ended up talking on skype with 30 year old woman who I accidentally called and she answered, it was kinda a rush to talk to her in Japanese.

Best sites for older radios are youtube and niconico. Just search the anime name + radio in Japanese. View count on niconico is a good way to judge how funny the radio is.

The K radio was also hilarious.

Part of the advantage of putting different words with the same kanji together is that it allows you to grasp the patterns of noun/transitive/intransitive forms much quicker, and allows you to develop a more accurate understanding of what the kanji actually means which in turn helps your guesses of later words containing it.

My wife flat out said that men who use 私 sound the coolest because they aren't trying to act cool or anything. They're confident enough in themselves and tend to speak very properly. It's not harder, it just seems that way because you are getting the muddling up over and done with before it matters.
