Still disappointed it's not a useable form that gets stronger as you complete your dex. A more fun version of the zygarde blue coin hunt.

Of course the boxes full of hardware are in Kukui's basement. All of the form-change items for every legendary not in alola are in the game, too. A meteorite to change Deoxys is also in the game. These things have to be in every game now so when you import those Pokemon you aren't fucked with no way to change their form.

I recently did a run where I only used Snorlax and had 0 pokemon caught (aside from the required captures). Beat the E4 with Snorlax at lvl 80.

He didn't faint once, but almost got ko'd by a tentacool chain that spammed wrap and acid spray.

Yeah, they also coulda had some flavour text about how the evolution stones in Alola have slightly different energies resulting in the same non-Regional Pokemon (Pika and Eggs) becoming Regional Pokémon after the stone is used. This would of allowed them to retcon Leafeon to use Alolan Leaf Stone, Umbreon A-Moon Stone, Espeon A-Sun Stone.

Unless it depends of coding in a huge system, like contests, you should be thinking of new rock placements.

Trade + item needs to be retconned to level up + item. MAYBE keep Porygon because it actually fits.
