Still disappointed it's not a useable form that gets stronger as you complete your dex. A more fun version of the zygarde blue coin hunt.

Of course the boxes full of hardware are in Kukui's basement. All of the form-change items for every legendary not in alola are in the game, too. A meteorite to change Deoxys is also in the game. These things have to be in every game now so when you import those Pokemon you aren't fucked with no way to change their form.

Remember when Deoxys had forms that you needed to trade to get? Wouldn't stop them from going back to that sort of thing. It's already happened with Deerling.
