It's the first generation not to be on a new console, which means it was limited in the new features it could bring. Hence the terrible pixel-heavy graphics. Also most people agree that the designs are generally significantly worse than previous gens, along with many straight copies (like bouffalant). And there are many more reasons: team preview, not being able to use gen 1-4 mons before the elite, disappointing post-game, underwhelming soundtrack, most 90's kids were not kids anymore when it came out, terrible anime, and so on

Red obviously has Charizard, Pikachu, Snorlax, Lapras and Espeon. I'd say his 6th team member is Poliwrath, because he has one in the manga. You could also say he has all 3 Kanto starters, but that goes to hell once Blue and Leaf enters the picture.

Leaf has Venusar, Clefable, Wigglytuff and Nidoqueen in my book, which she even has in the manga too. In the manga she also has a Granbull, but since it's unobtainable in FR/LG I'd replace it with Nidoking. Her 6th party member is either Ditto (as in the manga) or Eevee/Umbreon (since Red has an Espeon).

Judging on trailers, merch, manga and anime, I'd say Blaziken, Beautifly and Delcatty are pretty much a given for May; Empoleon, Lopunny, Pachirisu and Ambipom for Dawn; Emboar for Hilda and Servine for Rosa; and Delphox, Pangoro and Sylveon for Serena. Not sure what the rest of their teams would be though.

It's hard to tell, but from the looks of the picture they might be fake. It's tough to tell with HG but fake SS Carts sometimes have Blue-ish backgrounds when they should be grey

Looks fine, but can't tell for sure without holding the cart up to a light source. Fakes tend to be grey instead of translucent, so they don't work with the IR features.

most likely fake seeing as the guy sold over 700 of them and still has over 10 more. Even though HGSS sold about 12 million copies, it was still a limited print due to the pokewalker.

Yes Ninjask can do the exact same thing Scolipede does and there are stats that people pass other then speed. Passing iron defense or amnesia with mew is also a thing
