Here's a fake evolutuon I've liked for a while. Think I first saw it in Acanthite back in the late 00's.

What is this aversion towards it just gets bigger designs? There's nothing fucking wrong with it. I love creative well thought out designs as well but sometimes people just want something simple

Because it usually comes off as lazy, where the design is almost literally "it gets bigger", and maybe gets some fur or pattern change but that's it. A lot of pokemon have some degree of conceptual change between evolutions, so in order for a fakemon to look like a pokemon, it should follow pokemon design rules, one such being that evolutions tend to be completely unique stages, so that certain stages aren't redundant.
