I wouldn't say the best, but it's very good. Neat, clean and well organized, the background was icing on the cake.

The battle menu was great as well, although you only ever had to use it as a Sentinel, Saboteur or Medic

Never because FFXIV succeeded and they don't want another MMO to compete with it. Yes, their logic is stupid since money for both games goes back to the same company. And releasing a new MMO could actually be used as a form of advertising FFXIV. But this is SquareEnix we're talking about. They go out of their way to do the wrong thing. Levels are consciously designed by professionals. Nearly every experience you have in a level is designed to be exactly that way, and it allows developers to implement a better overall experience.

Procedurely generated places have none of this. It's just lazy, and it never improves a game.
