Why does /v/ praise this game? I see it praised for being a story-focused game that allows you to make your own choices, but those choices never actually lead anywhere. The story and the ending is always the same, the only thing that changes is which characters survive. Heavy Rain did this thing, fucking 10 years ago, where the actual plot, the identity of the killer and the ending actually changed based on your choices.
If you're gonna make an interactive movie with barebones gameplay, why would you make your choices so restrictive? You might as well not have any choices in the first place and just let us watch the movie without interruption. If you're gonna make this kind of game, then make as many branching paths and endings as you can, so the player always has a different experience every time he goes back to replay the game.

Probably best Witcher antagonist so far. Second probably being Azar Javed or Letho.
Unlike Memedin, he was there the whole time, you felt his presence and influence. And everytime he appeared you could feel he had some hidden goal or hid some truth about the whole situation.

I like Botw a lot because it made exploring fun, however I really miss the old style collect the dungeon item then do things with it that they didn't do in this one. Hopefully a merge of the two can happen in a sequel, where you can explore but also explore cool dungeons like the previous games have. Something like a Tower of Hera would be excellent for this type of game.
