What's he up to these days?
I think Lil Dicky is mostly chilling right now
Would you an Ashly Burch?

She has to promise not to talk.
Is it wrong that I find more fun and satisfaction in RE4's inventory screen than in 95% of games?
>>386209879
Autistic as fuck, dude. Calm the fuck down.
>>386209879
It's almost a minigame of sorts. It's sort of fun, in its own way.
Yes, it is wrong. Ultimately, the inventory screen is just busywork. There's no puzzle to fitting things right-- you just rotate shit until it fits, and if it doesn't you just combine some herbs. It doesn't fix anything about weird mentally-intrusive gameplay abstractions regarding, "How does he carry so many things?" It just raises a lot more questions (How does he carry all that weight without impeding his movement at all? Why can't I fit things in the gaps between squares such as those below the barrel of the pistol? Where does Leon keep his attache case? etc). Having to pop open the menu every time you want to change guns is also pretty ugly.
What exactly is the appeal to you?
>open world has jump scares
clenched asshole

Fuck that noise. The first time that happened to me my ass could have made a diamond from a lump of coal.

Why did people like this game again?
A game with choices that actually mattered and made a difference

I honestly don't have a problem with people not liking these games, and I think it was personally far from perfect but people got upset about the wrong things.
>terrible controls
The base controls were fine, it was when it started getting into the minigames where things took a nosedive, especially the minecart levels
>terrible camera
Like, one instance in the game where this is an issue (the first boss in which it is a massive issue)
>Hub world too hard to navigate
How fucking retarded do you have to be for this to be a legitimate point? If you don't have Alzheimer's it's incredibly easy to remember where to go and what to do. It really isn't that fucking big
>Annoying voices
Isn't this what was asked for? What on earth were you expecting?
It seems like people backed it hoping to get another Banjo Kazooie game and were annoyed that they got another Banjo Kazooie game (Jim Sterling's review in particular was beyond retarded). I get the feeling most of them have never played a Banjo Kazooie game in their life.
People wanted Kazooie and they got Banjo-Tooie
>>386209101
But both of those games are great.
I learned to immediately disregard any review that said "rose tinted spectacles" for this and Crash N Sane Trilogy, as most would just offer up the most baseless criticisms known to man that would lead one to suspect that despite hyping the game up themselves they never had any interest in it to begin with and won't critique it properly.
This was such an underworked, unpolished, very bothersome game...
It would be better if they added zombies
>>386209554
The game is boring right now with no real enemies. Imagine how cool it would be to have zombies come out the snow and attack you.

Is there consensus on whether this game is good or not? Or at least worth playing?
How about the N64 port?
>>385588278
It's great, ps1 version is superior
>>385588278
The PS1 version controls better, and the audio quality is better as well. If you play it, play the PS1 version. It's definitely worth playing though one thing to keep in mind, it wasn't til Legends 2, till they analog control support since Legends 1 was made before the Dual Shock was out. The gameplay is alright, and the cast are very lovable. If you go in with an open mind towards a different take on Mega Man, you should hopefully like it.
>>385588278
The N64 port has better graphics and controls but the PS version has better sound. You should play the PS version so you have more consistency when playing the PS exclusive sequels.
The Xbone version of the game is getting the Freezethrower weapon as a timed exclusive, what perk will it be associated with?
>New SWAT and Medic guns never ever
>console exclusive weapon
>limited time at that
these people deserve to be gassed
>>386208601
How long is it usually, three months?
>>386208747
Three months? Gassing people doesn't take that long.
ITT: games that quietly died soon after release
I'm still having fun with it.
Almost any multiplayer game released in the past 2 years

"""""""""""""""""""""Died"""""""""""'"""""""
So this week I've tried to sit down and play more than a dozen games, and I can't seem to find anything I really enjoy anymore. Anyone else got this feel lately?
>HoMM3
>Baldur's Gate EE
>Grim Dawn
>Oblivion
>Shadowrun: Dragonfall
>Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
>Tales of Maj'Eyal
>FTL
>Pillars of Eternity
All of them I've spent maybe an hour or two in each and just felt burned out. Send help.
git good noob
>>386208227
Force yourself to pick one at random and play it.
Seriously, the issue is your self control. Play for +6 hours even if you're not having fun. It'll take eventually. You're sensory-overloaded.
Maybe you just need to take a break from games. Sit down and watch a few movies or read a book for once
So probably a lot of you starting playing videogames at a very young age.
>Would you call yourself addicted nowadays?
>Imagine you'd start again with all your knowledge but with the option to eliminate all your video game experiences. Would you swap them for having picked up a different hobby?
tl;dr do you regret ever being introduced to videogames.
Share your story, /v/
wouldn't change a thing.
Although I wished I did pick up piano lessons I don't regret anything.
I'm not saying I learned anything important either but what does it matter anyways. I enjoyed the time I've spent and what is there left besides the hedonistic pleasures of life to enjoy
>>386207974
which I'd learn how to draw earlier instead of going to jewniversity and falling for the STEM degree meme. that's about it
>>386207974
Not really, no, I wouldn't say I'm anywhere near addicted nor has vidya impacted me in many negative ways. I could be less sedentary for sure but I still have a career I love and good relationships with people around me. I find vidya to be best when it's mixed with those things, not the only thing going on in my life.
I'm starting my second playthrough of this game, now that there's new content.
Any interesting sequence breaks or unsual routes worth checking out?
Hollow Knight thread.
There's a major 1 hour glitched speedrun on youtube that can show you some tips and tricks.
There's a sequence break where you can pogo off your shade to get on the ledge above the charm lady's hut.
>>386207653
I'll check that out. I wonder how many glitches have been patched out, though.
>>386207778
That's good to know, I'll definitely try that one out.
