Reality: Plot reasons.

Story based logic: The Slytherins were considered evil or just mean spirited Witches and Wizards in general. They constantly bullied and harassed other students throughout the series.

I marathoned all these in like 2010, haven't watched one since. The most memorable trap for me was the one at the beginning of 4 with the two guys chained to the winch. One has his eyes sewn shut and the other, his mouth. They have to work together but they fucking FAIL
