Alright, so I'm going through the WFRP2 Errata, after noticing that the Career Compendium, just like everything else published by FFG under the WFRP2 license, didn't take the Errata into account, despite the fact that the Career Compendium was pretty much the only thing they actually made themselves. What fucking cunts.
Anyway, in the Errata, under Children of the Horned Rat, there's a reference to a downloadable appendix supplement, to a URL that is long-since dead and buried. Picture related.
Anyone have any idea where to find it? It's not in the usual troves, because I should already have all that. I tried searching around a bit, but came up empty. But it has to be out there, somewhere, probably in an obvious place that I'm just missing.

Fuck me, that's enough to make me want to start Lizardfags.
Do Centaur exist in the Warhammer world?
I know about Beastmen Centigor and Chaos Dwarf Bull Centaur but I was thinking a cavalry army with Wood Elves or Warriors of Chaos rules might be cool.

probably feldon of the third path.
really cool flavor and i generally stay away from red so i'd appreciate the challenge
>>52604965
>You are forced to play a monocolor commander you don't already run. Who do you go for and why?
Well, easy choice would be just another Goblin. Swap out Zada for Krenko or Zo-Zu or Kiki-Jiki.
But let's not make an easy choice. I'd like to make a deck with Sakashima the Impostor that's all about clone effects. Abuse Mirror Gallery.
>>52604965
Krenko god boss, because I never see mono-red besides of Purphoros and Daretti
I missed out on Commander 2016, and every lgs I went to was sold out on the Yidris deck which was the one I wanted from the beggining. Started building Maelstrom Wanderer in the meanwhile
Yesterday I finally found it, and I can upgrade it a lot with all the Wanderer cards I got. Good feels.

Is FATE actually any good? I'm looking at the rules, and it just doesn't look any good.
>weird dice and awkward math
>players are encouraged to work against their characters
>Core of the game is heavily dependent on meta-currency
>no clue how combat is supposed to be fun
I wanted to try a simple game, but I feel like I'm going to end up running it wrong.
>>52602446
How the math is awkward? It's very simple.
Also I don't see how working against your character is a negative. If it's good for the story then the player would do it anyway, and getting a bennie for it is just a nice bonus.

It is a time honored tradition of space opera to have the local race of honorable yet bloodthirsty ultrawarrior aliens to hail from a stupidly deadly homeworld where the entire foodchain is made up of predators, every plant is toxic and every afternoon it rains volcanoes.
For the sake of the slightest pretense of realism, just how deadly and in what ways would you say a planet can be while still feasibly supporting a civilization which evidently went on to become starfaring advanced?
Bonus points for mentioning how specific hardships would guide said warrior race's evolution with specific traits beyond the generic "strong, sharp senses, redundant organs" they all seem to have.
>>52601255
Tuchanka was a decent place though, until space frogs decided to give them nukes before they were ready for it.
>>52601270
IIRC, they nuked themselves back into the stone age pretty fine without outside help (SEVERAL TIMES) even before the space frogs. The space frogs just allowed them to become a galactic menace to the point that sterilizing them was the only effective alternative to killing them all on the "save the galaxy from krogan consumption" question.
>>52601270
The krogan are actually an interesting study on how this trope doesn't always work like you might think (owing to the first Mass Effect having a head writer with an actual passion for science fiction who genuinely wanted to create an interesting setting, rather than a platform for SJW preaching). Tuchanka was so retardedly deadly the only way the krogan could SORTA survive was by becoming retardedly durable. This maintained a sort of status quo by which JUUUUUST enough krogan scraped by every year for the species to not go extinct. However, by developing more and more advanced technology the krogan ultimately fucked up that balance, since now they were no longer being killed by the ecosystem but they were still durable and reproducing like they used to. This caused population explosions which (the krogan having evolved to be so aggressively deadly) time and time again caused them to nuke their own civilization into rabble fighting over resources and territory. When they were uplifted to the galactic scale it was only a matter of time before they were going to become a menace.

I'm especially surprised seeing how we're starting as little more than commoners. But hell, the DM is known for doing shit like hotswapping DnD for Rogue Trader in the middle of campaign, so maybe this time we'll get, dunno, Exalted.Sorry for creaming so much, but I'm just so goddamn excited to see someone actually preparing maps and stuff for the game that promises to be fun.

de-aging spells
In 3.5 it's actually insanely easy. All you have to do is cast the clone spell when you're young and commit suicide before dying of old age. The clone is a duplicate of you at the time, which means a younger version of you of the same age as when you cast it. You can avoid shortening your life span by 10 minutes for each life time by just having your laboratory on the astral plane where nothing ages.

I had a great moment putting two Byakhee during a cultist ritual. The investigators arrived during the ceremony and the creatures went mad in the midst of shots, shouts and chants. They began to attack both cultists and investigators. It was intense.
I'm organizing the handouts for The Sanatorium. This weekend I put them here for someone who has an interest.

I've been playing online chess all day and getting my ass kicked.
Where can I get better at it?
This is the right board right?
>>52592307
In theory, yes. In practice, no. We've got a few chess anons who are really good, and most of the rest are just casuals. The players who are really good (I'm not one of them) speak in a jargon that's more or less impenetrable.
Hey friend
I recently picked up chess too sorta. Been playing against the computer at level 3 and 4 on the chess.com app and gradually got to a level where I could beat it.
Played against a friend for the first time at lunch today and got my ass whooped hard, first time playing against a real person since I started playing a few days ago.
Anyway the chess.com app has lessons and puzzles that are good and I found this site that looks pretty good
http://www.entertainmentjourney.com/index1
I'm kinda in OPs shoes too, I've been playing amateurly for the past month or so
I use Lichess.com because it's completely free, got usermade lessons on there and their app is better designed. Also the puzzles are great. I started out around 1100 ELO rating and now I'm 1650 ish 1700 on a good day.
I wish my group would have an interest in actual historic settings and games, instead of meme-history or GoT-style games with only a tangible connection to actual history.
I wish any of my friends would care about /x/-stuff enough to play Delta Green.
