I think my kill team might be the most incompetent squad scouts in the entire galaxy.
They've not only lost every mission they've done, but they've also ensured 100% OoA rate as well, and now their leaders gotten captured.

I wasn't there for most of it but my game group ran a multi-year long campaign using Aberrant as the system.

I haven't tried it but I would like to run mutants and masterminds for my group.

Mutants and Masterminds 3e is about as balanced as you can get while being a supers game. But it realizes that there's no 100% way to balance so many broad and potent powers thus has put in advice for said things. Even then, the customization is great, but also the hardest part of getting into the system. Combat is still as easy as rolling a d20 though, and damage actually leaves you with conditions of you receive enough of it.

I tried not to because i am not well versed in politics of any kind, nor do i have the time to get informed enough to make a proper representations of real world issues.

One of my players wants to play a politically minded werewolf deep into the LGBT community of 2003 and i nervous to handle that one so i more or less gave him card blanch to handle that however he wanted.

The story and voice acting is actually pretty solid and faithful to 40k. It was written by one of the better black library authors. Where the whole movie falls short is the animation, which it was a small studio that did the best with what was given to them. Other than that it was a faitfhful story to the setting.

This is from/for D&D genies, where each mistranslation/misinterpretation of/for genies is assigned one of the four european elements.

Goblin's also have the quality of tricksters so having them pull large scale potentially violent pranks is another element of their character to work with.

As for Orcs you can focus on them as a trbialist band of wandering warriors tied by a warchief with a culture of honor and combat leading them. Alternatively they can be interpreted as an organized military culture akin to Sparta.

So, before I go any further with painting or making more like this, what do you guys think of my first actual attempt at putting these together?

The Citadel glue didn't work on any of the metal pieces I had, so I'm gonna do more of these plastic ones for now.

I figured with all the leftover plastic from their casings, I could use it to make sort of a rubble-like terrain in a few weeks.

If you're using Citadel PLASTIC Glue, then it ain't really surprising it didn't really work on anything other than plastic. Other than that, your little laddie looks prety good. I really like the look of the old DEldar models.
